I had a whole bunch of caps and comments on various things, so I thought I'd post them.

First off, continuing the theme of vampires that do not sparkle, I still adore Vampire Knight and to convince you to watch the prettiness, I bring you caps behind the cut.

Also, my rewatch of Buffy reminded me of this (because DB is in it). I hate it when shows are set in DC! The first five minutes of Bones made me LOL so hard at the geography (yes, I plan to do a selective watch of the shippy bits the show. But I hope they stay away from the outsides :))

Moonlight got cancelled. Boooo! Did they at least have a chance to finish off their storylines?

In good news, however, Iljimae starts next week. Yes, it's the fusion sageuk with Lee Jun Ki as a noble (and if the below trailer is to be believed) tortured robber. YES.

I defy you not to want to watch it after the below teaser. It looks like a cross between King & Clown and Time between Dog and Wolf. And how could that ever go wrong?

Blah. I think I might be coming down with something.

1. Am watching the Doctor Who two-parter. I am not a big Martha fan but it's interesting to see her back temporarily, and my geeky heart is very happy she is engaged to the super-hot Doc from the resistance when Master ruled the earth. Yay.

I continue to love Donna, who is very different from Martha and Rose because for her, she is emotionally invested in the cool travel and do-gooding, not the Doctor himself.

Amusingly, last night I dreamt of Ten/Rose reunion and I remember being shocked (in my sleep) that BBC would allow them to make out that way. LOL. Even my subconscious is practical.

2. Have not yet seen the latest Battlestar Galactica but read all the spoilers and all I have to say is...I love Anders. What else is new? Love.

3. I have now hoarded four eps of Moonlight. I foresee a happy binge.

Things that make me happy today:

1. Battlestar Galactica season 4 starts this weekend! YES! Can’t wait! It seems like forever. Starbuck, Adama, Roslin, Apollo, Helo, Athena, Six, Anders, Tigh, Leoben, Tyrol etc etc. And…sigh…Baltar. He annoys me a lot, if for no other reason than that I want to forcibly shampoo him, but ahh, well.

I really need to embark on a mad BSG rewatch. Will buy S3 later in the week.

2. Doesn’t Doctor Who start this weekend as well? YES again.

3. As far as I remember, the remaining eps of Moonlight should air sometime this month? I miss my angsty vampires and the spunky reporters who love them! Me want. Now.

4. I don’t even watch Prison Break but I am glad both on principle and because I know it made happy a number of my flisters that ( spoiler )

5. Romantic Princess continues to be so incredibly cute! And the OTP is so incredibly shippable and squishable. It really does come across as a rather more well-integrated Rui and a Makino. Eee. I am always a push-over for spunky girls and reserved boys who are flabbergasted by them. ( Spoilers for first couple of eps )

6. I thought I couldn’t be any more excited about the upcoming kdrama Powerful Opponents, about the first lady bodyguard in the Korean version of White House. I was wrong! The guy who is going to be playing the President’s Son (please, PLEASE tell me she is assigned to protect him and that he will be her OTP) is not only the Secondary Guy in Smile Again that I fell madly for and have been scouring the net to see if he was in anything else, but:
a. he is younger than she is!
b. he is supposed to be “egotistic, tough outside but was hurt inside, a typical rebellious character.” LOL. Yes, please.
c. I saw some promo pics and he gets the snot kicked out of him. I approve.
d. Some awesome pics. ( Pics here )

7. I am finally going to restart the super long (126 eps!) soapy melodrama about hot (currently ex) serf actresses and the angsty aristocrats who love them, a.k.a. Bednaya Nastya. When I stopped, Vladimir was just carted off to be questioned for treason, as poor Anna stared uncomprehendingly at it all (to be fair, she isn't too bright) after her great success singing at the ball and exchanging flaming glances of passion with said Vladimir. Heeee. This never eases up, does it :)

I am a bad fan. I have not yet seen the latest episode of Moonlight. Will do during the week, but they are so scarce I want to savor them. Why yes, I am a sad person. I have heard it was very good though. Y/Y?

In other news, I took a whole bunch of screencaps of eps 2-3 of Sorry I Love You, the one with the bullets-in-the-head vengeful Korean hottie and his diminutive OTP.

If you want to see boys in pink sweaters (secondary male lead), rescues from watery grave, and more angst than that of a starving vegan in a steak-house, go behind cut. I can't guarantee lack of snark :)

Next time, I bring you purely gratuitous swimming scenes involving teeny-tiny speedos. Korean TV knows its demographic.

I've been thinking: I see people (understandably) freaking out about the writers' strike, and I realized that I completely don't care.

I mean, I will be sad if Battlestar Galactica doesn't get to finish its story, but it's been so long since S3, that I am sort of used to being Galactica-less. And I will be sad if Moonlight doesn't get its chance to continue, because it's the first new American show I've been interested in, in years, but I will be happy with what we have, and in any event, American shows don't really have a unitary arc so I won't feel left in mid-story. And I can't think of any upcoming movies I would die not to see, except for the ones already finished and thus the strike is immaterial to them.

Now, if e.g. Korean/Japanese/Taiwanese TV industry went on strike, I think I would have a nervous breakdown. I mean, I need to know how Hong Gil Dong will go from a ne'er-do-well of flashback to the awesome rebel of the present. I need to see Kame fall in love with a nun. I must find out how Lee Da Hae and her moppet will melt Jan Hyuk's cold crook's heart (and handsome exterior). I must must MUST participate in further developments of Zhi Shu and Xiang Qin's marriage.

Not to mention that Saiunkoku Monogatari must go on. And the Hanadan movie come out. And I am dying for Cain and Abel to start.

If Bollywood went on strike...you are kidding, right? Half of these movies feel like they have no scripts anyway :D But I would totally weep if it meant further delay of Jodhaa-Akbar, or Karan's upcoming project, or Aamir's Gajini, etc etc.

Hmmm.
