I am beginning to recover from an awful awful stomach bug I picked up somewhere. Eating is still not an activity I want to engage in, but tea tastes nice. Mr. Mousie has been an angel - taking care of Baby Mousie, making me toast (which I can't eat yet. Advice - worst way to lose a few pounds, ever, is to get a stomach bug) and tea.

Luckily for my "I have barely gotten out of bed all day" self, I have Shut Up: Flower Boy Band waiting to entertain me. All about high school wannabe rockers, this is one drama that is ridiculously entertaining, has attitude, and makes me think of a Boy Love manga, only minus the BL as it is a Korean drama (there is a heroine in this, and she's OK, but honestly, they might as well saved themselves the trouble). Have a MV:

Lee Min Ki cameos in this and, I swear, the man has a portrait in the attic somewhere. He got me to thinking who else I'd cast in my own rocker drama. I came up with:

and

Too bad No Win Woo is prepping for Full House 2 instead (have you seen that horrifying hair he's sporting for it?) and Kim Jae Wook is doing his military service.

Also, What's Up has almost finished its run and I can't wait to binge (I put it aside ages ago, because I thought it would be better watched in one go). If Shut Up is Dream High's older brother, who raided their Mom's make-up cabinet to sneak out to raves, What's Up is if Dream High and Glee had a kid, and then that kid cut off all his hair and went in for breaking and entering.

Oh I'm sorry to hear you've been ill. Not a stomach bug, but I had a bad headache earlier in the week and couldn't keep food down, not even soup. Must be pretty bad if you can't even nibble on toast.

He isn't that old, is he? Most of the 20-something k-drama actors these days could pass for high schoolers.

These flower shows aren't really my thing (saw misterX refer to Moon/Sun as the Flower variation on sageuk) but I saw clips of his cameo on DCgall and he's excellent. Another actor who needs to lead his own k-drama soon.

He's 27, which is kinda old to be a high schooler.

Shut Up is at least entertaining. Ramyun and Moon/Sun are less fun than doing the dishes. Moon/Sun must be the most simplistic sageuk in history.

Hope you feel better!
