Still Bednaya Nastya...

It's official. I am going to try subbing Bednaya Nastya. It might be a fun excercise. Probably take me forever though, at 120 eps and me doing it by myself. Also, seriusly, is there a timing tutorial somewhere?

And eeeee! Am on ep 12 and it's better and better! They just brought up the Decembrists! (One of the few eps in Russian history I really like). And I decided I generally love Alexander. But the best part by far are Vladimir nd Michael in jail, about to be executed, and doing the male bonding/gallows humor thing and just being super awesome, especially with their hands tied (and did I mention Vladimir is wounded?).

MMMMM.

OMG OMG OMG. Bednaya Nastya makers are so kind to me.

I am on ep 13 now, and after the jail/firing squad/pardon sequence, while Michael is playing the piano and dreaming of Anna in the next room, Natalie (Michael's sister and IMO the most awesome heroine in the serial. No, she never hooks up with Vladimir, she is Alexander's OTP) has come into Vladimir's room as he is unsuccessfully trying to change the bandage on his wounded arm, and after some adorable snark back and forth, she starts helping him, and his shirt is half-off and...mmm. Seriously. HOT. The actor AND the actress seem to have chemistry with everyone. EEEE! Seriously hot. And then she makes him take off his shirt. Heeee.

P.S. I find Lisa (Vladimir's ex) kinda annoying. She is nice, but seriously, such a drama queen. Plus, she is not right for him. He needs someone fragile, to idolize and protect and put on a pedestal and be boyish with. Ergo, Anna :)

Proporal Daisakusen (and a bit on SPN)

I am finally watching Yamapi's Proposal Daisakusen. When it first aired, I saw first two eps and loved it, but I find it almost impossible to watch airing dramas. So now I am watching it properly, and it is SO INCREDIBLE. While I often prefer kdramas and twdramas to jdramas for various reasons, there is a certain crispness, a nuance to jdramas, the others don't have. Not to mention the pace. And Yamapi? Oh, he can break my heart. And does.

Oh, how much do I love an OTP who are best friends? Thiiiiis much. PD is a Japanese drama about Ken and Rei, who have best friends since they have been small. And Ken has been in love with Rei for years. And it stars at Rei's wedding. To another man. And Ken is given a chance to go back in time and to win her over again.
