Proporal Daisakusen (and a bit on SPN)

I am finally watching Yamapi's Proposal Daisakusen. When it first aired, I saw first two eps and loved it, but I find it almost impossible to watch airing dramas. So now I am watching it properly, and it is SO INCREDIBLE. While I often prefer kdramas and twdramas to jdramas for various reasons, there is a certain crispness, a nuance to jdramas, the others don't have. Not to mention the pace. And Yamapi? Oh, he can break my heart. And does.

Oh, how much do I love an OTP who are best friends? Thiiiiis much. PD is a Japanese drama about Ken and Rei, who have best friends since they have been small. And Ken has been in love with Rei for years. And it stars at Rei's wedding. To another man. And Ken is given a chance to go back in time and to win her over again.

But now am off to 3:10 to Yuma. Oh, and comment of the day goes to Mr. Mousie. We are in a crowded Starbucks and he fishes through my Borders bag to see what I bought and fishes out S2 of Sumernatural, looks at it, grins, and asks, very loudly, 'So, Boytoys?' LOL. I nearly died.

LOL. There was. I bought the first two parts of this awesome trilogy set in a fantasy version of medieval Japan (the hero is a reluncant assassin). The first book is called 'The Nightingale Floor'

Excellent series. I seem to recall one part of the first or second book lagging, but it's great. Series is called Tales of the Otori. There are actually 4 books...the trilogy is about Takeo and Kaede(the OTP) the fourth is about Takeo's children. The 5th book(which I don't have yet) is a prequel, about the man who takes Takeo in as a child. This pleases me greatly, as he was one of my favorites(and he and his OTP were awesome)

ProDai is 11 episodes, but just so you're aware, there is a twelfth episode that is going to be released on the DVD set. XD

My best friend said that 3:10 to Yuma was very very very good, so I can't wait to hear what you thought of it.

kl;sdndl;s ProDai broke my fragile Yamapi-fangirling heart! I only got up to episode 6 before getting too scared to keep going and spoiling myself for the rest of the series. But depending on episode 12, I might end up going back and finishing for real.

I loved ProDai, it was so good! And I'm both excited and worried about the 12th episode since I liked the aired ending. What is going to happen in it?!
