She adds that maybe she is being a little selfish, but she is not readyto let go of Huo Da yet. A little? A LITTLE? He is not a spare tire to be kept in storage in case you need him! UMMM. He is a person. With feelings. It's not ALL ABOUT YOU. She and Jia Di (who so cares about others) are polar opposites.
And heeeeeee...she doesn't realize it yet, but she's lost Huo Da's heart already. But I don't want the poor guy to be more confused or drawn in again and hurt. Though part of the reason I love him so is that he is not deluded. He always knew exactly where he stood with her.
And then she is all 'I am too tired to ride, can you give me a ride on YOUR bycicle.' It's not even a shipping thing for me actually. It's just Huo Da is such a good guy and I don't want him hurt...

ETA: I love the difference in apologies between Huo Yan and Huo Da. For HY, it's mainly about being forgiven but for HD? It's mainly about making Jia Di feel better. He says she doesn't have to forgive him, but he is trying to make
her feel better. OMG. And that is why HD wins (also, eeeee, he knows her so well as to predict what she will do, like he knows she will want to drop the mp3 so he warns (on tape) that it's the latest model :P) Of course, actions were different too: HD really didn't think and it was a spur of the moment thing and wasn't about her but not letting his secret out but HY wanted to insult her.
ETA2: And he donated blood as his good deed to atone for what he did, even though he is terrified of needles. And recorded himself singing that song she likes even though he has no voice and had to look for the text all over...And he also told her he will pass his exam because he promised her. That's the thing, the aplogies are SO different. Huo Da's is all about making Jia Di feel better...
