I've realized I never wrote down my thoughts on Battlestar Galactica's 'Eye of Jupiter' so here they are, behind the cut.

Of dorama and manga cuteness: Tatta Hitotsu No Koi, Magicians of Love and Kare First Love

Because Tatta Hitotsu No Koi has finished and I spoiled myself (I was literally clicking ‘refresh’ on several pages that would have mention of the ending on a loop of ‘refresh’ like a psycho) and know how it ends and can binge, I’ve been continuing in my watch (and also because winterspel and kitsune714 write the best meta). Mind you, I am still on episode 5.

First off, I have to say, this show has really made me fall for Kame. Granted, I still want to force-feed him several large fatty dinners in a row, but OMG. Not only is he pretty, but he can act amazingly well. And is very expressive and subtle. Yay. Does he have any more dramas coming up? And I am definitely watching Sapuri just for him (and also because I saw posters for it when I was in Tokyo, so this will be cool). And I really must get back to Nobuta Wo Produce when I am less tired and can follow things.

In other drama news, I’ve been continuing with my watch of Magicians of Love. I am about three and a half eps in, and it continues to be mushy and awesome. And Yasu/Xiao Bei are totally OTP and the best thing about it they don’t realize it yet.

I have also been reading, off-and-on, manga Kare First Love. It’s a very shoujo ten volume manga. It’s actually a bit low key despite all the potential melodrama. The geeky unattractive girl who is actually pretty when remade, evil ‘best friend’ and playboy gorgeous guy who is actually a photographer with angsty family? More cliché than cliché, not too much drama, and the proposal at the end is sort of tooth-ache inducing, but I still couldn’t help mainlining it like heroin. Maybe because I am a sucker for fluffy shoujo, or maybe because it’s so darn cute and sweet and pretty.

The Battlestar of Badfic

The Battlestar Galactica section on ff.net is making my eyes bleed.

Samples:

Crossover with Stargate. They have known each other their whole life. But they only meet in their dreams. Will they ever meet in real life?

Yes folks. It's Lee and Sam doing Peter Ibbetson. God help us all.

BSG Season 3: After seeing the president and the admiral fight once again, the Quorum with the help of Tom Zarek decides on an appropriate arrangement for Roslin and Adama.

That arrangement? They get into a forced arranged marriage. Yes. Exactly. I can so see that.

This is a FF for the new series i suck at writing summaries so just be nice and read my story already! lol and later on there will be some BillLaura, ApolloStarbuck, HeloAthena, and its about two humans found drifting in space and their story.

You apparently suck at capitalization and grammar too, lol.

Lee got married shortly after Zaks funeral but never told Adama or Kara.

How I love the Mary Sues! Almost as much as they love Lee, apparently.

This is Post Unfinished Business, my version of what i think should happen next. P.S. working on my diolague skills.

Next up. Working on using spell-check.

What if Kara and Sam had met before the Cylons destroyed the world? What if she even met him while she was on the amateur pyramid circuit and they were friends?

What if I screamed in horror upon discovering this? There isn't much Kara/Anders fic out there as is. Must even such a tiny ship have the 'everyone is sunshine and puppies' fic?

Story has a life of its own. Starts out with SharonHelo, AndersKara, KaraLee, etc. Then it continues with their children. Happy rar!

Rar (whoever he is) might be happy, but I am not.

Bill and Laura's kitten vie for her affections.
