I have continued my Roswell marathon by finishing "Wiped Out" and watching the two-parter "Meet the Dupes" and "Max in the City."
The Max and Liz angst fest continues, though marginally less angsty. I bet Max only wants to die about 20 times per hour now.
When they found out in Wiped Out that the humans were all going to disaappear eventually, even Liz, Maria and Kyle, I loved the look in Max's eyes when he looks at Liz. You know, that relief he had when he first saw her? All snuffed out. You could tell he can't even think about it. He might be hurting so badly with Liz, but he just shuts down without.

Yet more Roswell from the crazed one...

The Christmas had some moments I didn't care for as I am not about Xmas spirit (though I loved the fact that Max is an atheist who doesn't change his mind at the end). But it had some heartbreaking moments too.
When it opens, Michael and Max are picking up Xmas tree, and Max doesn't appear to be in paralyzing agony by which we know something truly awful is about to happen. And of course, in front of their eyes, a man tries to protect his kid from a car and ends up being run over.
I love that Max's first instinct is to bolt to the guy's side to help and heal him and Michael has to pull him away. And of course the guy dies and...I was sure Max was going to have a breakdown sooner or later and well, I guess the time is finally here. He starts seeing the dead man everywhere, haunting him and taunting him and that boy just needs a hug. He realy doesn't need any more trauma.
