I am through ep 28 now and it's official - Tae Hee is a rare drama hero who would be wonderful to date in real life.

Ojakgyo shippy cuteness...

I don't really have much meta or anything. All I can say is Tae Hee/Ja Eun are adorable through ep 18-21 (where I am at) ( And the below caps prove it )

Ojakgyo cuteness...

I continue to adore Ojakgyo Brothers, 17 eps in. I've found myself barely fast-forwarding and, I don't know if I was slipped drugs or something, I actually warmed up to the mother (she's had a rough life and she now cares for JE. We all have failings). Still, my main obsession in this baby is Tae Hee/Ja Eun, with a side of Tae Bum/SY. Luckily, the drama is giving me plenty.
( More cuteness and similar )

I was a bad bad girl and peeked at some spoilers (quasi-incidentally) and apparently ( cut for spoilers through current aired eps )
My current watching list ( Here )
Also, I know Joo Won was slated to play secondary guy in Moon That Embraces the Sun, i.e., the role which went to Jung Il Woo. People are saying he dropped out in order to take the lead in the upcoming Bridal Mask, and while that would be understandable (lead >>> supporting), how on earth did anyone, Joo Won included, think he was going to be able to be in Moon? Even if we leave Ojakgyo's eight-ep extension aside, the drama is still airing and would have been airing for 3 more weeks even without the extension. Moon is airing too. Granted, they are doing childhood parts in Moon now, but the adult stuff is slated to air (let alone start filming) before Ojakgyo's even-unextended scheduled end-date. There is no way the same actor can be a lead in one drama and a main (one of three mains) in another, without bending the laws of time and space. So I think Moon would have always been a wash-out. I mean, there is no earthly way.
In other upcoming drama news, I am mightily amused there is still not a peep about a leading lady for Shut Up: Flower Boy Band. I am kinda hoping for utter wall-to-wall slash at this point because it's frankly insane they have no gal lead cast if they plan to have one at all. Heh, I might even tune in, at this rate.

Ummm, am I supposed to be happy Lady Reporter and Tae Bum are getting married? I mean, sure, it's a kdrama, I am sure they'll fall in lurve, but in real life and using real-life common sense, any marriage that begins between two people who weren't in love and are getting married only because the gal got knocked up and then begged and begged and nagged the guy to get married until he finally caved in, is going to be a disaster.
Bonus - I loved the below scene. How can Tae Hee be so flipping awesome?

In conclusion, not sure how much of my liking TB is due to my thing for Ryu Su Young.

Jan. 8th, 2012 03:55 pmI like Reporter Lady but (as of ep 12) she's being kinda insane.
OK, your one-night stand with Tae Bum made you preggers and you want to keep the baby.
Fair enough.
But hounding him to marry you is insane! The one-night stand was fully consensual and involved two adults, both of whom seem to have been too stupid to use protection. These people were not in a romantic relationship with each other either prior or after the one-night stand. TB isn't forcing Reporter Lady to have an abortion (though you can tell he'd love it) and, in fact, says if she's wants to keep the baby, he'll pay alimony.
That's all he has to do. To marry a random coworker because she's pregnant is pretty insane. I am sure this will work out if they get hitched because this is a kdrama, but in RL, talk about a recipe for an awful marriage.
So her acting like he's the biggest jerk because he doesn't want to get married, is insane. I understand Korea has a stigma attached to single mothers, but even with that, her demands are insane. He didn't rape you in an alley and he plans to support and acknowledge the child. That is all one is required to do by conscience.
Reporter Lady, chill out!
