Emo overload of awesomeness

Oh ProDai.

I just finished ep 6 and I was totally crying.

Because it's his last chance, really, and he gets a job even though he is sick, and gets her that giant toy thing (for her birthday) and she decides she will try, for one final time, to confess her feelings, but they miss each other because she comes to his apartment with comfort food and waits for him, but he ran to her place, even though he is totally sick, and he is sitting outside with the present, and when they are about to lock up, he gets down on his hands and knees and begs for them to wait 10 more minutes, not to lock up.

OMG.

OMG.

And finally they both give up and he comes home and sees her package so her runs to find her but even though he is running (sick!!!!) he makes there too late, because the flash goes off and...

he is back to the present.

Oh.

OH.

Frell it, you made me cry, drama.

I think he is thinking now, he can never have her, after all.

Rei, you are SILLY.

EEEEEEEE! I can't believe you're finally watching this!!

This drama made my stomach hurt with its emo-ness. Poor, poor Ken and Rei. *sniff*

But why the second series, it ended perfectly? I loved the scene after the credits as the perfect ending.

I so see episode 6 as marking a shift in the series... because before, it was mostly Ken being an idiot and a clueless boy that was holding the two of them back, but after this, after everything he did and all that he tried to make happen, you start to see some shared blame.

I completely agree with hope_fuleigh that this episode shows that even though Ken might be frustratingy slow and hopeless at times, he still tries his best. From this episode onwards I really wanted to smack Rei at times, because she was so clueless and even cruel at times. Sigh. This drama really got under my skin and I loved it!

Yeah, I wanted to smack rei a few times, but they were both so young, it was totally realistic.
