Harry Potter poll and other misselania

On viewing list this weekend: Parineeta and Sith.

I am rereading HPV in prep for HPVI and I just want to give the boy a hug and some unconditional loving. Though he'd probably snarl at me. I guess all those pent-up years of being mildly-behaved have finally exploded in his (and everyone else's) face. And of course he now feels more secure with his loved ones. He knows they won't reject him even if he snits.

See, I would figure that he'd marry Ginny and become an aurour, not a quidditch player. I'm a sucker for happy endings, especially for my angsty guys (which is why I cry a lot in anime because they generally don't get their happy endings or don't get them until the very last minute and not in the way they expected).

*pets the angst* Such a sucker for the angst.

I really wonder what his career choice would be at the end. He clearly enjoys teaching (OotP), but he also adores Quidditch.

And being Auror is fighting darkness and doing something useful and I see it appealing. I wonder.
