OMG. How much do I hate YS (the other girl)? The grabby, manipulative BITCH.

The scene in ep 3 with Huo Da and her treatment of his confession to her made me want to STAB HER IN THE FACE. Sure, he is a little immature, but he is a total sweetheart. But even if he wasn't Mike He being more adorable than a puppy, seriously! You are supposed to be his friend. You've known him for years. He is a nice guy, a little younger than you. And you know he is in love with you. Fine, you don't have to reciprocate, you can like his older brother. But the only reason you show up at Huo Da's house (even though he's sick and would probably like a visit) is because while you don't want him, you don't want anyone else to have him either and you thought the girl who answered the phone was his gf.

And as soon as yo see he is still hooked (because he is so transparent, but he is not even trying to hide), you are just back to your bitchy self. He is telling you that you are the one he loves, and you finish his sentence for him 'The one I love is'...'Me' and that is just because you want to feel the feeling of still being the 'owner' and have proof but you don't want to deal with it, you just want to know he is yours on standby, so as soon as you get it, you pretend it was all a joke. Seriously. You are a total BITCH.

UGH. diediedie. And then you continue to say some horrible things to him (as payback for making you worry in your esteem?) Leaving aside everything else, he is supposed to be your friend. I wouldn't even treat a stranger that way. And she sees he is devastated but she is totally going 'score' mentally, I bet.

Did I mention his guy friend is there in the house so she is doing all this in front of an audience? diediediediedie.

Did I mention my gigantic crush on Jia Di? She is so adorable and when she gets sad, I do. HD and JD are both so terribly young...And then they get into that horrid fight and awwwww, she is so hurt and storms out and he feels horrible too. He was in a bad mood from rejection but even worse, he thought (not unreasonably, especially since he has the experience of people either leaving him or being with him because they want something) she stole his cellphone and was so hurt because he likes her and didn't think she was like that. And then he finds out the truth. OMG, I love the looks HD gives her *dies* Silly boy, you don't realize it, but you are hooked.

ETA: OMG OMG OMG! Her Uncle skipped from hospital and she has no money to pay the bills and he overhears and the look on his face and OMG!!!!!!!!! He secretly pays the whole huge bill for her. *dies* And then he is secretly there, unoberved, watching her find out, because he wants to see the look on her face when she finds out it's OK. And he doesn't intend for her ever to find out it was him, either. And eeeeee! He is totally smiling when he sees her reaction.

OMG, my ship is made of awesome!

ETA2: But Kingone is wonderful too! I love him and want him to get an awesome girl after this drama is over.

Hey, he ends up at peace and stuff, no bawling your eyes out. Most of heavy duty angst in last eps in Mike's according to spoilers (as they do my fave 'he loves her but must push her away because he is dying' thing which I love as long as it has a happy ending).

No, he has some disease (Wilson's disease) where he is fine if he gets a transplant, which is always a tricky thing to find. Anyway, he finds it and is fine. As far as drama medicine goes, this is downright documentary slice of life!

Though I love the insane medical science in wuxa...is it humanly possible to keep up with all the poisons/cures in HS and ROCH(others too, but you've seen those...) I'm positively giddy waiting for someone to get poisoned in Sword Stained With Royal Blood.

Medical science in dramas is even worse than in Bollywood (I am remembering Yaadein, where a mother gets shot and the doctor says she will die so he must remove life support, so she is perfectly coherently talking to husband and then he removes and she dies, and that is supposed to be normal).

But nothing beats wuxia medicine. All the poisoning in ROCH made me positively dizzy. It's like they were running around Chinese versions of the Borgia.

In wuxia medicine, pressure points and accupuncture cure EVERYTHING...unless there's a pill the hero must perform impossible feats to get(and does, of course, unless he gets repoisoned and killed)

And lets not forget that getting kicked makes you bleed internally(understandably) but also poisons your blood...

I have seen SSWRB MVs with poisined Qing Qing and am just giddy waiting to see how she gets cured(knowing that she, Chengzhi and Princess all live makes watching the angst much easier)

Well...the 3 main characters live and the otp goes off together to have more adventures, and I understand a fair chunk of the supporting characters live(everything i just said is like ROCH...) I guess it already got it's doomed forbidden love out of the way(though I can tell there's a ton of angst ahead)

Yes, I very much want to know how Bichunmu is. I have mixed feelings about the movie(and I like the director's other offering, shadowLess Sword w/ Lee Seo Jin, better) but am curious about the series. Order any other wuxia with it?

Will do. Nah, just Bichunmu (I liked the movie well enough but it really looked like an outline for a drama. Oddly, this is a Chinese dub). I haven't even finished Butterfly Lovers, Jumong, or Siblings, and haven't even started on Romance of red Dust and Patriotic knights, so no more :)

Bichunmu is based on a longer manwha, I've been told. One thing I've heard about the drama is that they change Sullie from a calm lady into a "Spirited" warrior chick, which I'm not so sure about...one of the things I like about the movie was that she wasn't yet another Ms. Warrior*I like them, but the break was nice, just like in Musa).

Not counting SSWRB(which is consistently better and better...and for what it's worth, he probably would have fallen for Princess-who is very cool-if he hadn't already had his "Property of Qing Qing" tattoo well in place by the time they met...not that they would have worked out) I have 7 wuxias waiting and a list as long that I want...that's out...neither includes Japanese or Korean period dramas.

I don't need the subs, but they are for the Best Friend, who I am insisting will watch along with me! I made her watch "Mars" with me as it was airing, but no one was actively subbing, each week, like the Korean sub teams did, so she would be downloading raws and I would be translating in IM windows, and it got terribly messy.

And I promised I wouldn't watch until she did, so...yeah. XD

I love this show! And I love Mike...he is so adorable. I'm not sure how I feel about the spoilers about him getting sick. Haven't they already done the "he is sick/injured and needs to be taken care of" story line? But so far this show has been awesome, so I have high hopes that they will do it right.
