dangermousieDon't judge me - I've been sick and bedridden all week and Baby Mousie is teething. I need all the distraction I can get.
Jinguk’s dad is making him to study abroad and Jinguk cannot reject his dad. So he decided to not attend the fake showcase and that he has to control his feelings for Hyemi. Hyemi doesn’t understand, and become upset about it. As for the real showcase, Jason feels bored rehearsing with Lila who has no talent at all and aimlessly takes Pilsuk to noraebang with him.
And then the real and fake showcase day comes…

OK, my two cents:
(a) seeing that it's ep 7 of a 16 ep drama, and Jin Gook is one of our main characters, I am pretty sure he's ultimately not going to Timbuktu, Beluchistan or wherever else far far away Daddy Evilest wants to send him (North Korea?). I foresee a dramatic last-minute entrance for the fake showcase, probably at the end of the ep, sorta like Geol Oh in SKKS during the archery competition, though hopefully minus potentially sepsis-inducing wounds.
(b) JG has to control his feelings for Hyemi and Hyemi is upset about it? Guess whose inner shipper is jumping up and down in glee? (Outer shipper remains bedridden, swilling her meds and apple juice). At this rate, the makers are giving me so much delicious shipper goodness, even if JG/HM will end up not being the endgame, I'll still be grateful for the nice long wallow. Of course, Hyemi being upset and Jin Gook distancing may lead to Sam Dong getting an opening to win the lady fair, but eh - if that happens, c'est la vie and all. He's a nice kid so I can't hate it too much. As long as you don't hook up Jin Gook with Ms Wannabe Murderer Baekhee, drama!
(c) Jason is upset at Lila's lack of talent? I bet it's more like 'he's upset at not singing with Pil Sook!' And he takes her to karaoke! That means more time for my adorable secondary OTP, and it's almost like a date! I bet Pil Sook with be happy to the skies. And there will be shippy progression! And if I've been very very good, hopefully a duet!
