OK, I am so confused! Sometimes I just want to take Zhi Shu and shake him until his teeth rattle and yell at him that he should finally pick one: either let Xiang Qin go or tell her you want her to be with you! You can't have both and keep her dangling!

But then he does something like the umbrella scene in the rain, where they are both out in heavy and very cold rain trying to catch a taxi and he makes sure the umbrella is always always covering her so she won't get wet at all, even as he is getting soaked to the bone (because the umbrella isn't really big enough for two people so it's either them both geting wet a little or her being dry and him not at all), and he is always keeping up with all her movements so she won't have any rain on her for a second and I melt.

Argh! Am bipolar.

I do have more coherent thoughts on eps 10 and 11 but they'll wait.

Yep, Zhi Shu slapping is one of my favourite past times ... and it will get worse before it gets better *sniffle* And wait for the scene for his birthday present, XQ's imagination of how he opens the door are hilarous, esp. the last version :D

Heeeee. The thing is, I don't think he is horrible or anything. It's just the way she doesn't react back to him that drives me nuts. And yet at the same time I love them together. Am confused.

But XQ oesn't have the confidence (or the smarts) to realize he is actually showing her that he likes her. Sometimes his snarks are so subtle even I in a love craze like XQ would miss them. ZS does a lot with subtext, and then when he gets frustrated she doesn't get it (and most of the time intelligent Princess-type also doesn't get it) he lashes out at XQ.

That's true. I love ZS precisely because he is so tongue in cheek and snarky. But XQ is so insecure and so straightforward herself it bounces off. Actually, I think part of the reason he likes XQ is because unlike him she is wholly open and with no hesitation.

Oh! I totally adore it! I have reached the point where they are in the college - FIRST TENNIS SESSION. I love them together. I love their first kiss. I just love the way Zhi Shu is so fallen for her and the way he is constantly trying to stand really close to Xiang Qin and that he doesn't understand what is going on himself. EEEEEEEE! This so reminds me of high school/University times - I can see why this dorama is so popular. THE BUS scenes! Oh Russian buses - I have almost forgotten you!

I totally love that Xiang Qin always bounces back and that she she is so impervious to his remarks.

EEEE! This comment has too many "loves". But truly - "It started with the kiss" is so light but at the same time so lovely.

And when she notices and tries to adjust it so that it's covering him as he starts to get wet, he tells her to just stand still and be good! GAH.

But, it's hard to hate him when you see how happy he was when her friends cornered him and told him that he's the only she's ever liked and has liked him for over 4 years... And strangely, he was kind of surprised by it. Um, for someone as smart as him is supposed to be, how could he not have known..

I know. I loved the little smile on his face as he repeats 'so, four years' or something to that effect.
