The hotel scene is....asjfk!
My brain is gone.
Seriously. I think he finally realized what he feels for her. EEEEEE! I love when he tells her to dry up first and she says she bought him a shirt so he can change into it (as both their clothes are soaked). And the thing is he is so at a loss because of his discovery and because he is kept being continually given proofs of her niceness to him. He does the default 'you think this is nice?" but it's clearly an automatic response. And then she takes the price tag off but he sees it anyway and goes "if it's so expensive, you wear it." And she apologizes because she has no idea what color he likes or anything and then he tells her Give it to me when we get back home, but you wear this for now. And OMG OMG OMG. T scream. Because that whole conversation what he was trying to tell her in an incredibly clumsy way is that she should wear it now so she'd be the one with dry clothes.
And then she comes out of the tub (btw, can someone give Joe Cheng a sandwich? The boy is SKINNY). And OMG OMG OMG OMG. Because he tells her that prior to her love letter everything was always predictable and he knew how everything was going to be exactly but ever since she's entered his life, things have been out of control and he's been saying 'oh no' and feeling panic. And she is all upset thinking she's made his life miserable and then he adds with a little smile that the unpredictable feeling of 'Oh no' is rather nice.
EEEEEE!!!!
And he tells her that se must be a special trial sent for him :) And he says he is willing to accept it. And OMG the look on her face as she asks, 'does that mean you are willing to accept me?' And he says yes. And she says 'what you mean is in the future you won't keep hiding from me any more' and he smiles quietly.
And then she asks 'maybe you'll even reconsider marrying me' and he totally backtracks that what he means is not minding her staying at the house. Heeee.
etc etc etc.
And then she asks "You don't hate me?" And he is honestly taken aback for a bit and says that she is only hard to deal with, not heateable. And she is frozen so he asks her 'are you OK'
And then she hugs him telling him she really likes him and OMG the LOOK ON HIS FACE. He looks so totally taken aback that he could be that important to someone and moved and even rather humble. All that emotion.
That whole scene is adorable, especially since this is as open as we've ever seen him. EEEE!!
And then he teases her again, about doing well on exams as proof of her love :P
ETA: OMG! And then they go on a tandem bike. And he is teaching her to pedal. And is smiling. EEEEEEEEE!!!!!! And they totally have a date and she is so happy and he is so relaxed and EEEEEEE! And he wins her a stuffed toy and they play some weird game involving catching little fishes and how characteristic that once he catches them all, she puts them back because 'they look so pitiful' and asks if they can play something else (and he grins and says OK).
I love this dorama with a love of 10000 suns.
