Japan trip is finished. Oh woe...
Sep. 17th, 2006 02:00 pmAm back home after a long long flight (not as bad as the flight there, except for the middle-aged man next to me who kept periodically snorting. Perhaps he thought he was a horse).
I want to be back in Japan! I have loved the entire trip beyond reason, but I have especially fallen in mad, hopeless, write-mushy-letters kind of love with Tokyo. It is bar none, by favorite city so far. Also, everyone back home seems style-less and drab now :P
Went to an onsen last night which was delightful. Very what Roman baths must have been like, with more hot water things than you could imagine (there was one that even had some sort of milky thing), both indoor and outdoor. And outside was a common area where both men and women (baths themselves are separated by gender as everyone is starkers in them) wander around in their yukatas (robes you are mandated to wear inside), and can have dinner, play games, or watch entertainment. Quite neat. We also took the driverless train across the river to get there and it was beautiful.
I am also excited by my Silence OST. It has a fancy fancy box and inside, beside the CD is a thick glossy booklet entirely in Chinese but it has gorgeous pics. And there is a bunch of postcards, which I am not mailing but hoarding! Because they have Vic Chou or OTP in various scenes or promos, all the while with Vic looking hotter than it should be possible for a human to look (though I have been in Tokyo for too long when first thought when I see a shot of his carrying her is 'but it's wrinkling his suit!)
Everyone seems to be doing dorama rec posts (check out
scottishlass's here: http://scottishlass.livejournal.com/165265.html), so I need to do mine. Soon.
But first, I need to upload the seven billion pics I have taken on the trip.
When does Supernatural S2 premiere?

Re: Vic's terminalness. Hey, apparently he is going to prove the literal truth of 'too hot to live!'

Looking forward to the pictures :)
