Help on burning DVDs

dangermousieOK, I am kinda tech illiterate. However, the only way I can get DVDs of certain doramas with subs is to dl them and then burn them. However, I have no idea about how to do that (heck, I am kinda unclear on how to dl anyway but I'll figure it out). Do I need software installed? What kind? Heeeeeelp (in case anyone is wondering, I really want to watch Tokyo Juliet, Love Scar etc).
Alternatively, I guess I can ask some kind soul to dl and burn them for me and I could pay them for it, but I don't think I'd have much luck (and I have about four of five doramas I can only get that way, that's a lot of burning :P)
