Kdrama related randomness...
Aug. 14th, 2007 04:42 pmI am so torn. There are three current dramas I love (Coffee Prince, Time Between Dog and Wolf and Why Why Love) but I obviously can't watch all three at once. What to do, what to do...
Anyway.
Mmmmm. Jo In Sung, who totally blew me away in A Dirty Carnival as a struggling mobster, and whose rich, screwed-up woobie was the best thing about Something Happened in Bali, has another movie.
A period one. With swordfighting and horseriding. And the OTP in it is two men.
He certainly likes doing different/off-beat things. I mean, The King and the Clown was a big deal partially because of how conservative a society Korea is so...this is unusual. Am really looking forward to it but I maintain that I must see a story where he is not miserable 80% of the time and this will probably not end well either.
Couple of pics of JIS.

And apparently he is enlisting after this movie, so it's the last thing for a couple of years. I know Korea has mandatory military service but I am wondering what on earth they do with all these actors. Seriously? That's got to be bizarre, to be a comanding officer to a celebrity.
And because I was thinking of Bali, here is a mini-picspam of the other male lead in it, So Ji Sub.
aka 'Guy who is destined to die in every drama ever': Bali, MISA, upcoming Cain and Abel (well, I don't know how that one ends but seeing he is a mob assassin, I don't see him skipping happily into the sunset).
Or if you want to be more cheerful in your nick choices, 'Mr. Hipbones' (because it was the first shot of him in Bali and I went WHOA).

my eyes!!!!

This gif found on soompi cracks me up. Oh soompiers, never change!
