winterspel. I love reading every single one of your posts and love having you on my f-list! Enjoy the day and (hopefully) lots of cake! (it seems there are a lot of June babies on my f-list :)).
Second, Thank You, everyone, for the music recs. I am actually going to check out every single one (yes, really). I've just got an MP3 player and I'll start with stuff that's available for that...
Third, and Veronica Mars related. My mind is in the gutter, but you know what I was thinking about? Logan and Veronica's hypothetical sex scene. We saw (urk) the first time Veronica had sex. And we saw the first time she had conscious sex. We definitely got a Duncan/Veronica sex scene. And we certainly saw a LOT of Logan and Kendall and even a bit of Logan/Hannah grateful sexus interrptus. But I cannot imagine how we are going to see Logan and Veronica's first time and that makes me sad. Of course, RT can always break them up over the summer, but not only would that be absolutely ridiculous (once is fine, twice gets to be surreally dumb. Moreover both Logan and Veronica are a lot mentally healthier now), but unless they break up within minutes of the end of "Not Pictured" that still won't address the fact that they would be inside each other's clothes in hours in any dating situation now. So basically, even with a break-up, they still would have had sex over the summer.
Come on, when they dated first, Veronica was, for all intents and purposes, a virgin (she couldn't remember her previous time) and definitely was a rape victim. So I can see her being reluctant and Logan not pushing her. Now, she is not a virgin any more, having had a nice (if not super exciting) and prolonged sexual relationship with Duncan. And every time she and Logan get within two feet of each other, things spontaneously combust. Though the one way I see that TPTB could believably still have L/V not have sex by start of school year is that yeah, Logan will never ever push her, and now she knows she has been raped for real and it wasn't just fluffy drugged consensual sex with Duncan, so I can see her developing issues. And I would buy that they didn't have sex over the summer because of that (because flashbacks just for sex? Tacky.) Still, the way they were necking at the end of NP was pretty issue-free. RT and Co. can definitely do the whole 'necking is one thing, sex is another' and handle Veronica's issues in a proper manner, without milking it or making her a basketcase, so I trust them. Still, I get the feeling Veronica Mars might be another Roswell, where we got to see a lot of other couples go at it, but not the show's main OTP. (Yeah, yeah, we can definitely see L/V sex, but I want to see the first time, dammit!)
