Sorry for random format changes

Am trying to do something different with my layout. As in keeping everything the same, except for changing side pics to fit with current obsession du jour.

Have figured out everything except how to have the background (not background pic) be black instead of white. I guess I can always make the background pic part of a huger background one that is black. But there has to be a better way...
