Queen In Hyun's Man - eps 2-4.

Queen In Hyun's Man is deservedly getting raves from my flist - it's about as close to perfection as a drama gets. We have a loveable, relatable heroine, a hero who is smart and, even better, a good person (how rare is that, to have a good person without any quirks), palpable swooning chemistry and a great set-up. I am in love.



No wonder BD loathes the minister (here posted mainly because it's the only look at the mane of glory so far).

The scene in the library is my favorite so far - BD's excitement at all these books, his joy at finding out evil minister will be defeated (and honestly, it makes sense to read up history. I never figured out why the prince in Rooftop Prince never thought to do so) and then the hug (after she says that it's OK). And then later her kiss of him (after telling him this is how people say goodbye).




































Off to watch eps 5-6.

This is the first time I've been so obsessed with a Kdrama that I watched the next episodes RAW and scouted the internet looking for more info.

Seriously, this is currently my #1 favorite currently airing drama. And unless they screw up everything in the second half, it will probably get in my top 3 favorites EVER.

I'm rewatching all the episodes like a crazy person, despite being very very busy with college, while waiting for episode 9 (next week).

Funny, that is EXACTLY how I feel. I'm really enjoying K2H and Rooftop, and I was a little bored waiting for episodes in between so I took up this one and I'm thrilled I did. It completely took me in and I adore it. Fast pace, good story and a lead who has a heart and sense. Imagine that. For me, it's really all about BD and JHW is perfect for the role. An underated actor who deserves to shine. Charasmatic to say the least and the perfect kinda sexy in my eyes. Hee Jin is so right, he is a player! LOL.

I feel the exact way you do. I'm completely obsessed! I've been loving K2H and Rooftop and got a little bored in between waiting for eps and decided why not give this a try since it looked rather cute and fun. So glad I did cause I absolutely adore this drama. It's beautifully directed, well written, but it's largely due to a lead that has both heart and sense that it's taken over my mind. I've always liked underrated JHW and this role has been perfect for him. I've always felt he had this calm and quiet sort of aura about him which works so well for this character. Plus I just find him completely sexy in this. =D YIN is better than I expected and I'm glad to see they have great chemistry. The story is moving along swiftly and it truly knows what clif hangers are! Wednesday come quick!

QIM has made me fall for JHW so much that I watched the god awful Mr Idol yesterday. It's such a pity that he's been so underutilized. Obviously this will be the show that makes JHW. He is Boongdo. Can't imagine anyone else playing this role.

Heh, I've been declearing my love for QIHM all over the blogsphere so I'm spazzed out now. XD

I'm really glad JHW finally landed a role that lets him shine and in a good drama to boot. He's always been able to deliver (even if the dramas have not bee all that stellar) but in QIHM he's making people stand up and take notice. I think it's the PD, who sorta did the same for Yun Jung Hoon in Vampire Prosecutor. Somehow this PD is very good at diging up something extra from his cast.

Everything about it is just working. Especially Boong Do -- I love that he’s a good man without being a Nice Guy second-lead type. And that the writing lets him be smart and figure things out and doesn’t resort to the over-the-top fish-out-of-water kinds of scenarios they could have. The entire show just has a very light touch that I appreciate a great deal.

I’m also loving how the show just lets the leads be attracted to each other—no dragging it out will-they-or-won’t-they. We don’t have to go through the we-hate-each-other-no-really! stage. Obviously there’s obstacles—300 years’ worth—but those are realistic to their situation.

Really, I just love every single thing about this drama, and it’s killing me waiting for subs on episodes 7/8.

I love this, but where do I find raws other than arigaTo and subs that are synched? I tried watching it on a streaming site (kimchidrama?) and the soundtrack was not synched :-( and yet I persevered and adore it. It's just so fresh! I never thought I would ever like Yoo In Na in anything but she's really quite charming and Ji Hyun Woo is lovely and low-key.
