I finally had time on our travels to watch something and thus finally finished ep 1 of Queen In Hyun's Man (I was hoarding it for travels and, ironically, had no time to watch it while traveling).

I am utterly and completely in love with this drama. It is so swoon-worthy and the way the hero and heroine look at each other!!!! The heroine is adorable and the hero has a very reliable and cool personality. I love how there is no dramatics for these two people.

I have always liked Ji Hyun Woo but his projects have never let me fall for him completely. With this project, he has carved a space in my heart! I am in total fan-girling mode.

I know, isn't it perfect? The whole drama is just cinematic and gorgeous, and Yoo Inna & Ji Hyun Woo have great chemistry. I must confess I highly prefer the Joseon bits over the modern scenes, though.

It is such an amazing drama and such a total surprise - it came out of nowhere to become a favorite of mine.

The only drama Im watching atm. They do the whole timeless love so so well, so much better than all other time traveling stories. Cuz both characters have a grasp of where the other is coming from and the disparity of their worlds, which involves understanding of each other on a whole different level than in most cases where one doesnt quite grasp the picture or even the fact that the other has time-travelled. And the fact that he can totally warp back to his world any time he pleases, ie he isnt trapped, means that they're choosing to fall in love despite the unnaturalness of it all. Such time-transcending urgency is omitted when the time-traveller is just conveniently stuck in the wrong period and get to stay without even an option.
Ugh, I also never fail to swoon whenever he just smiles amusedly in response to her made-up BS, but never calls her out on it. I love a patient and indulgent bf.

My favorite drama on right now. It's totally sumptuous. The best dramas have a way of making me fall for an actor I wouldn't otherwise have liked. In episode 1, I thought the hero was meh in the looks department. Now, Ji Hyeon Woo? Bomb. All 6'2" of him.

Oh and the drama is fabulous. :)
The story took quite an unexpected turn this week, so clearly this Show intends to keep everyone on their toes.
