Have you heard he may be the lead in Full House 2? I believe I read this a couple weeks ago. Not sure how I feel about a 2nd Full House but I have only heard good things about this guy on lj so it would be nice for him to get a lead part.
Hmmm. FH was my very first kdrama so I am not sure how I feel about a sequel. OTOH, if it's only thematically a sequel, the way Queen of Reversals was to QoH, I am fine with it.
It would be nice to see him in a story that tells something, but I confess I don't want to see him in FH2. Why? Koreans tend to be harsh with the sequels or the remakes. Rarely u can see an Unstoppable High Kick with 3 seasons or Seasons with 4 sequels (JGS is in the next one)
Kingdom of the winds wasn't as hot as Jumong(avg 40.9%) even though it had 16,3% average ratings, Temptation of wife(peak 40.4)and Temptation of an Angel(avg 17.9%) General Hospital 1&2 even Kim Eun Sook's trilogy Lovers or were at least ok dramas
but Athena, Queen of Reversals were struggling in single digits and some 13+% through the second half, The Woman Who Still Wants to Marry and The Man Who Can't Get Married, (first The Woman Who Wants to Marry ) are considered big flops
I really want to see Kdrama developing a season system but a good one and not a flop. This is the country where scriptwriters make live dramas just because they can follow the latest trend and not because it works well with the story ( read on hancinema Kim Eun Sook's view about it ( she wrote Secret Garden too) only my comm there is long and boring. This is the country where if ajummas give a go to an appliance we can have it in our homes too ( ask Samsung and LG about it). Those ahjummas are their viewers and they won't dare to go against them and sequels are compared one with another and eventually ignored if it isn't on their liking ( Heartstrings it is about u too - even it wasn't a follow up it was treated like one - we been there done that what's new?)
Do you realize my NMW OCD if I made time to study Korean sequels just because they had a rumor about him being in FH2 ( I loved FH but not OCD level)
No Min Woo is going to Japan - I hoped to see him in a jdrama - he can speak pretty well the language (anyway better pronunciation than English )- his good points even in English he writes with a perfect grammar when he isn't using slang even though he doesn't look nerdish nor he is student at the best university like Song Jong Ki but he has an idea what grammar and literature means )
