I admit that most of Chinese Paladin 3 makes my brain leak out of my ears and I remain pretty indifferent to the main OTP. But the secondary OTP - ah, the secondary OTP is sheer perfection. Grown-up and angsty and forbidden and heroic and just ... aahhhhhhhh.

We finally got their back-story (well, half of it) when the elders opened Warrior Priest's cealed memories from past lives (yup, his and Snake Girl's lurve was so strong, he would have remembered it despite reincarnation) and - OMG!

And it would have all worked out just fine except for idiot priests!

Argh!!!! WTF is wrong with you, priests! Seriously!

If one of your disciples decided he wants to ditch and not become a priest but instead get married to a girl he's in love with, I have no problem with you preaching at him how love = illusion blah blah blah.

But if he still wants to ditch, let him go!!!!!! I don't think intercepting his and his OTP's letters and then lying to him she died is a proper way to get someone to join priesthood!

Girls who dress as boys to be fighters and fall for their best guy friend - it can only be a cdrama

My current thing for Wallace Huo led me to dig out my eps of Love at First Fight, a cute cdrama set in the early 20th century whose heroine has been brought up as a boy from childhood and nobody, not even her father, knows she's a girl. It helps that she can kick most people's butt. Wallace Huo plays her best friend who's obsessed with marrying rich but, to his horror suddenly finds himself attracted to his best guy friend. You know, the short one who kinda looks girly. I have to say only in drama would would somebody mistake Miriam for a boy. Even with short hair and swagger, she looks 100% feminine. To think otherwise is to be both blind and developmentally challenged.

Anyway, I saw the first couple eps a long time ago, liked it well enough, but thought it was too cracky/fluffy to keep up with it and got sidetracked. We'll see if my new crush will result in me being more obsessed with it this time around :)

And speaking of obsessions, I got to this part of CP3!

Which version of the Smiling Proud Wanderer is this?

Because it looks awfully pretty. I am hoping 2001 as that's the only one I can find with subs.

Also, is Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre 2009 worth checking out? I tried the first ep and was completely confused but it does look gorgeous and has Ady An. Plus, the same guy made ROCH2006, one of my huge favorites which also had confusing and boring first couple of eps and then went awesome. I know earlier eps are backstory so can someone tell me when story proper starts and I'll start with those eps and try again. Have a MV:
