OK, I have to watch Love Keeps Going pretty much right now!

That's how it's done, kdramas! Add to this that I adore both Mike He and Cyndi Wang and we are set. (I confess I never really fell for Sunny Happiness, even if I enjoyed it, which this seems rather similar to, but for me, Cyndi >>>> Janine).

In other vid news, while I am going crazy waiting for subs for ep 12 of Myung Wol the Spy, have this awesome MV:

Speaking of MVs, have this gorgeous one on Warrior Baek Dong Soo (I love this vidmaker):

You know, despite Yeo Un's fall from grace, I ship him and Ji Sun more than ever. In part because Dong Soo should be Jin Joo's but because I find their dynamics so interesting and chemistry so lovely and it will be even more interesting now he's gone over to the dark side, everything she opposes. I bet the drama will end with DS/JJ, Yeo Un dead and Ji Sun finding peace in a monastery. (Despite their characters being very different I do see one resemblance between them - their lives have been wrecked by their fathers who refused to see them as people but only as symbols.)

Anyone tried Birdie Buddy yet? I am trying but keep getting distracted by our hero's hair:

Dreads is the one hairstyle I do not get the appeal of and to see it in a kdrama about golfers is odd, to say the least. I keep getting completely thrown out of every scene he's in :P

Nah, it was at least 95% platomic with Sado (I'm leaving room for a possible early crush) an some paternal instinct on his part, but she definitely wanted to stay with him, in some way, for her life, and she had the whole "psychic sense" thing when he died.

I think Dong Soo is largely infatuated with her because she's pretty and lonely and needs help, and he's basically incapable of not wanting everyone around him to be as peppy as he is, and she's infatuated with him because he was/is basically clueless about her obligations and role and is the first one to not want or expect anything from her. (And really, if you look at her body language, she reacts to Jin Joo the same way she did to Dong Soo initially, with the whole "what is with this person will s/he ever actually stop talking at sit still?" thing, but with a higher physical comfort level.) And then you toss in hormones. I don't think it reflects badly on either or makes them shallow, but they really don't seem compatible in the long run. I mean, if nothing else, Dong Soo literally starts wilting and slips off into his personal La La Land if there aren't enough people and enough action around, and while Ji Sun doesn't shun society or anything, she'd rather have peace and quiet and more limited interactions with people. Like most introverts, she only really talks or seeks people out when she wants to or has something to say, as opposed to being prone to just making conversation or wanting to be in a crowd just because. There's a reason he does 90% of the talking in most of their scenes together with her looking at him like she wonders if there's an off switch.
