I am in the middle of ep 3 of the Thai lakorn Leave the Last Light at Horizon and it continues to be so very entertaining!

* Clearly knowing what their audience wants, the amount of shirtlessness in this drama is truly praiseworthy. I was especially fond of the completely gratuitous flashback of bodyguard's to his and his ex's sexytimes. I approve.

* The amount of make-up on the heroine is astounding. I had less make-up on my wedding day than she does when getting out of bed. But then this seems to be a lakorn norm - I remember watching Defendant of Love and the heroine was on some remote island and chained in a hut but somehow her captor seems to have allowed her an industrial-strength make-up kit.

* I am totally enjoying the OTP dynamic which consists of "OMG, he is SO annoying! Nobody has ever bossed me around before! Where is the grovelling?" and "She is making my job impossible by being so spoiled but oh, she is totally hot!"

* Heroine is kinda bratty (to be fair, she doesn't know about instability in her country) but for some reason I like her anyway. Hero makes me space out staring at him (I am supposed to believe that his ex ditched him because he didn't have enough $$$? I mean, is there someone golddigger enough for this in the world? Unless she was blind).

* As of ep 3, we had an absolutely awesome foot massage scene - she twisted her ankle and he is trying to massage feeling back into it or something. Whatever the reason I was totally swooning - it was totally foot-fetishy-sexy thing.

In conclusion have another MV, this time with some h/c.

Am now through 2/3 of s2 and I continue to really really love Burn Notice. I have yet to see a bad ep. Plus, the show has explosions AND makes me laugh. Perfect combo. Oh, and Michael Westen is a fictional type I really like - competent and in control (but when he loses it, he's really scary). Plus, the beach! I want to go to the beach now!

Have an unusually shippy pic (this show has really little shipping).

1. I have not been following any airing kdramas this summer but that is not because there is nothing that grabbed my attention. I plan to marathon Bad Guy, Comrades, and Coffee House when they are done. Especially Bad Guy. Speaking of which, have this bit of adorableness.

2. Speaking of upcoming summer kdramas - the more I see of Girlfriend Gumiho, the less interested I am. However, I am getting quite excited about Mischievous Kiss (Kim Hyun Joong is manga-pretty and Jung So Min can actually act. Plus, the production team is really good and horrific scriptwriter of BOF is nowhere in sight :P) and Sungkyunkwan Scandal - I adored the concept of Scandal from the start and my big worry, Yoochun's ability to be a convincing lead, has been dispelled after watching Beautiful Love. I am sure he will do just fine. (His looks don't make my heart flutter but at least I don't get "eeeek, ugly!" reaction I am getting from Lee Seung Gi's stills in Gumiho).

3. Last but not least. HA JI WON HAS BEEN CAST AS FEMALE LEAD OPPOSITE JANG HYUK IN SECRET GARDEN OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG. Not only that, but Philip Lee (that's Chuhro the Sexy Warlord from Legend) has been cast as well. With an awesome scriptwriter and the cast to die for this is quickly becoming an ultimate must-see.

4. ETA: Also, apparently, Cha In Pyo has been cast as secondary guy in Daemul. SQUEE, I adore him! (He was the secondary guy in my favorite Cinderella story, Star in My Heart, and recently was in fun period drama The Reputable Family).
