Drama love
Aug. 31st, 2009 02:01 amAm though ep 4 of Orthros No Inu and continue to love it. It is still all about Ryuzaki for me - half the time I am repulsed by him, and the other half fascinated and a little sad - and every time I think I get the grip on what makes him tick, he does something else that throws all my presuppositions off - like the scene in the hospital with sick kids - I was so sure he was yanking Aoi's chain and wanting him to kill. Maybe in part to get some rough justice, too. I wasn't even surprised he healed that kid in exchange as he promised (though I loved that I did not know whether he would or not). But he's also healed all the kids in the ward and that wasn't part of what he bargained for or anything like that - it seemed a genuinely good deed.
My badwrongiwantit ship continues to get fueled by the evil evil drama:

(And then she snaps the cuffs on him. LOVE YOU, HASEBE!)
Because I love men interacting with kids :P

And then we got to the end of ep 4 and a lot of things suddently made sense and I felt very very bad for Ryuzaki. He's not a nice person but my heart did break for him a bit. I can see why it wouldn't give one a rosy outlook on life.
