Oh my God.
This was beyond perfect. Crying right now, you guys. If I had to wait a week to find out what happened afterwards, I'd have a coronary.
He's come home after a presentation and the stress is about to make him another one of his fainting episodes (honestly, just let the guy have a stress-free life compatible with his handicap. This cannot be good for him in the long-term. Momster, don't you care your kid has fits? Well, you don't care he's deaf and are making him fake it, so I suppose not). woori come in, mad and looking for her father, and then this happens:
His barriers have been worn down by his state and this just kills me, kills me, kills me. And when he tells her he can hear her and keeps repeating it? Oh Holy God OMG.
This ep was, in a lot of ways, about his limits and his coping with them - the scene in the dark, of which he's terrified (because he can't hear so he can't substitute his ears for his eyes) is just one such example.
Honestly, I've rarely seen a drama character who needs his OTP the way Dong Joo needs Woori. She's not just his possibility of happiness, but quite likely his hold on sanity.

Sometimes it's the little things that get me with DJ. I don't know what episode it was, but he was throwing the beanbag and saying "What sound do you make?" Then he made all sorts of falling/hitting noises. And it was just so sad, because you know how hopeless he feels. Or when he tries/pretends to listen to music.
I heard today's episode added more heartbreak for DJ. The poor guy, I really don't know how he can stand it. I want to hug him. Him and Joon Ha. And then take them all to dance with the nice father. ;____;

Date: 2011-05-23 11:20 am (UTC)Basically she came in and they were all cutesy together and then some other guy came in (she called him 'teacher' for whatever reason) and the guy in these pictures acted all jealous about how much attention the girl was giving the 'teacher' guy. I take it must be early on in the drama or something..
Anyway, it looked cute. I take it this is a more dramatic fare, though?
