I still can't believe we got an on-screen kiss with a minor! Omo! Shocking! :P Joking aside, I really think my heart almost stopped at the kiss scene, not at the kiss itself (though I loved how sweet and tender it was) but at the whole "he kneels to her, and wipes her tears while cyring himself." Oh my GOD. Perfect shippiness! And he's still got the scarf she wound around his neck on (I loved the scarf thing too - she's so bossy and caring and you can only see his eyes but he looks so in love). Mmmmm.

That was a pretty lovely scene, even with the fallout with SD.

JG is back in my good books... for the time being anyway. Taec's acting is still here and there so I misunderstood something in the last epi too. Besides, Taec's kinda lovable and it seems to seep into his caracters so it's hard to stay miffed at him for too long. :)

Did you watch the episode? Some movement on the Jason front as well.

Oh, the scarf... I think she hid half of his face so the fangirls would not recognise him. *g*

In seemed like they were breaking into song more often in this episode, and that dance battle that came out of no where. Also it seems like music can even bring the heroine and her former friend back together... that is until the former friend over hears her manager telling his assistant that the heroine has talent.

I also liked how HyeMi wasn't fazed from going into a yakuza wedding. check your weapons at the door.

I loved the dance battle, even if it was shoehorned in. Some amazing dancing. My fave was them singing the title track though.

I feel bad for SD but he has nobody to blame but himself for beyond willful blindness. HM basically told him she's in love with JG and the way she acts makes it even plainer and it's pretty clear JG is smitten right back. So what else did he expect?

I still feel bad for the poor guy though.

The kneeeling. OMG, the kneeling. That's what killed me. And she was crying for him. Ahhhh.

It's weird, but prior to this episode, I still hadn't chosen a ship - both boys were just too awesome, and I couldn't seem to decide between them. But before this episode, if anybody asked, I'd say I was leaning more towards Jin-Gook... but now, finally, I've decided once and for all.

And to my utter surprise, it's Sam Dong.

Though the HM/JG kiss on the ferris wheel was sweet... I just didn't get the "awww" warm-fuzzies-feeling, I usually do with my OTP. Instead, all I felt was my heart breaking for our poor country bumpkin. I guess I'm still in underdog mode - and considering this entire series is in that vein, I'm just gonna go with it, and hope that Hye Mi wises up and takes notice before tragedy strikes and he goes deaf...

Though I'm sure my HM/SD ship is set to sink... the heart wants what the heart wants, lol.

Also, like you alluded to in a prior post: Why DOES Jin Gook always make her cry?! Even during their first *kiss*, they're both in tears! And yet, almost every scene she shares with Sam Dong, she's smiling and happy. Ultimately, I think that was what did it for me: I think she's still caught up in her initial attraction/pull towards Jin Gook, and is responding to that. After all, in the last few episodes, you could see her reacting a bit differently to Sam Dong - like a girl recognizing her friend's a boy after all. Once Sam Dong makes his tough-guy turn, who knows, maybe she'll start seeing him in a different light. Especially since Jin Gook still has to live with his choice, and remain in "privileged" land, with all his annoying fan-girls.

On another note, I thought it was interesting how the K-kids music video reflected the sacrifice Sam Dong made for Hye Mi with the flowerpot. I'm sure it was intentional (not that I think Baek Hee's going to kill herself or anything, lol) but I wonder why they did that. A simple tribute? Or will it serve another purpose further down the road...? Or maybe I'm just reading too much into it, lol.

Honestly though, if SD accepts them as a couple eventually and wishes them well, I'm good. I just want them all to have their own happy ending: for once, there's really not a character here that I dislike!
