Sam Dong would be the country bumpkin with a *dream* and he becomes bff's with Jin Gook but both of them love Hyemi who is a nightclub singer for gangsters and then Jin Gook is a douchebag for a little bit so the two break up (*sniff*) and have love square issues. But eventually, Jin Gook will grow a spine regarding his father and Sam Dong will mature and continue overcome his head injury from Baek Hee's failed hit on Hyemi and then one of them will be famous and one of them will be with Hyemi, who will lovingly rule their life with an awesome, iron fist.
And Ria is the catty famous something trying to dig her claws into Jason but he finds her boring and evil so she resorts to blackmail or something and Pilsuk finds out and gets Mr. Gangster Man to help her (Pilsuk used Charm! It's Super Effective!) and they kick Ria's butt and Jason gts to have adorable rabu rabu times with Pilsuk. Yay!

*Hyemi observes this and rolls her eyes.*

Hyemi: Jason's good-looking and popular. And (*grudgingly*) he's nice. First-rate.
*Baek Hee pops out of nowhere.*

It's funny. I would expect this drama to use more well established minor characters as JS/BH's partners like BH's gay lackey b-boy, and "I lied that my mom died" girl. But I guess they went with the back dancers from JYP Entertainment.

I adore Sam Dong and if I ever had a son, it'd be awesome if he was like him (only not Korean because otherwise Mr Mousie will have...questions, LOL) but I can't drool over him at all - he's like this adorable little kid and I want to muss his hair and make him pb&j sandwiches. (Oddly, even though Taec is his age, the feelings I get towards JG are not maternal in the least).

As the triangle stands, I'll be happy with either outcome.

After seeing those pictures on a blog earlier on I couldn't wait and had to watch the episode raw. So good! Also I'm growing really angry at Jin Gook. And you might get your wish fulfilled: Sam Dong has matured quite a bit, I think. Although I didn't get most of the dialogue, of course.

Right now, it feels like Sam Dong might get Hye Mi. But then again, Jin Gook is meeting all the requirements for being the hero :/
