There is hope people!! After all in WW, Jeong Jio lose just 1 eye and only almost the second (but the main word here is "almost") and he's a Drama producer! So a musician can go "almost" deaf. ;-)
At most, I think SD won't be about to hear certain pitches. That would be bad as a singer; but, it also makes a dramatic and exciting story. 'K' (because he so is 'K'), the famous and Grammy-award winning singer is slightly deaf and can't hear some high pitches. - That's gold to a manager and press release writer. Or he might go slightly deaf in one ear. It ads to his "prodigy" thing - he was so good that even hearing loss couldn't stop him.
