I am not going to get into the whole Jin Gook thing (mostly) because I need subs to figure out whether I want to kill him or just maim him so a lot of this is about Jason/Pil Sook because ADORABLE.
I apologize for the cap quality being a little blurry - I used CEO raws as it was all I could find at the time.
Frustrated Jason asks Pil Sook out for karaoke and too much cuteness to bear ensues:

I spent most of the episode pissed off at Jin Gook so when I saw this, I went "Yes!!! Serves you right, traitor!" Ugh. (Sonny, I am all for you working out your Daddy issues but not at the expense of your friends!) I only wish Sam Dong was a little more mature/complex so I could ship him with Hyemi. Regardless of shipping (I gave up trying to figure out who is going to end up with whom in the main quadrangle), if that hint that there is something is wrong with his hearing due to Baekhee's flower pot will turn into something major, I WILL FLY INTO KOREA AND RIP THE MAKERS' HEADS OFF - because how horrible would that be? To get ruined because he saved someone from a psycho (and in this case, despite my belief in different levels of complexity/maturity between them, I want him to get Hyemi because otherwise it would be too cruel).
Also, while we are on the subject, please go die, Baekhee. Hope you enjoy your frelling fame after trying to kill someone and ruining someone else's life. There is someone on soompi arguing that Baekhee and Hyemi are morally equivalent. WTF! Hyemi was a bitch. Baekhee tried to kill someone and possibly maimed someone else, wrecking his life.
Note to makers - people bigger than size two don't necessarily wear mumus. Honest. I mean, I had cuter clothes when I was 9 months pregnant than poor Pil Sook is given when she's performing on stage.

It looks odd, because her face looks so trim now that they've stopped with the horrible makeup. I know overweight teenage girls - they have much cuter clothes. And, in an appearance crazy culture like Korea, they have to have cute clothing stores for the bigger teenage girls. I know her parents are middle class, but you think they'd be able to buy her a pretty dress or something.

The time line for this show confuses me a bit, because BH is making her debut soon, and usually K-pop singers have to train for a year or more before debuting. So. . .a think a time jump (3 months?) will happen.

Hopefully by then the triangle thing will become clearer because I do not deal well with shipping uncertainty - drives me nuts. She can end up with JG or SD and I am fine with either, I just want to know which so I can get myself psyched for whichever one is canon and watch in peace.

What with him being "a musical prodigy" and now losing his hearing... + that scene where he's arguing with Hyemi is heartbreaking. I have a feeling he's going to realize she's into Jinguk and/or is going to get solidly rejected once and for all.

also, weirdly enough, before this episode i wasn't pending to any side, they were pretty much playing ping pong with my heart, but for some reason now i think i like jingook with hyemi better, they have a better chemistry, at least right now. anyway i still support my OT3
and good news, pretty pilsuk is coming! but 'im sad that she's losing weight because of a guy (as awesome as jason is) than for herself. i want her to lvoe herself and her body for herself and not for others. also i'm a little sad that hyemi is not going to give her a makeover.
talking about jason and pilsook, their stage was amazing and endearing, i love how they both used jin gook's song and showed the two takes, a sincere and honest one that was incredible heartfelt (pilsook and jason) and a flashy and dramatic one, but avoided of feelings (baek hee and jin gook's, which is sad since the song is his. WTF ARE YOU DOING BOY?). and idg the power finger twirls baek hee did.

I love them together, love it that he thinks she is so much better than him and that she doesn't need him, etc. etc. As regards to the ending, my bet is on Hyemi+JiNGook (with KSD making some big gestures and whatnot). This showcase thing is irrelevant IMHO, especially considering HyeMi was supposed to be paired with KSD, wasn't she?

They so do where I live. Honestly, something is wrong with the way people dress here in Britain, my mind boggles in a big way. I believe anysize ladies are beautiful, but I also strongly believe that tutus, hot-pants-shorts, and very-low-cut-skinny-jeans do not belong on curvy ladies, just do not belong. For some reason everyone here seems to think differently.
Anyways, I digress - Baehee! Even my 11 year old seems to think she is evil loser! She really liked BH at first, but she is no stupid!

And then when Jin Gook comes to his senses and comes back, she won't be able to bring herself to leave Sam Dong because she'll feel like he lost his hearing because of her.
You know all the talk of Pil Sook's clothing reminded me of what happened to two of my friends. When they lost weight (and we're talking 20-30 pounds here), they didn't immediately go out and buy a whole new wardrobe. They kept on wearing the same stuff until they had (1) reached a point where their weight had mostly leveled off and (2) they couldn't make most of what was in their closet work anymore. Nobody had really noticed how much weight they had lost, but when they started wearing clothes that actually fit, it was like it happened overnight. Pil Sook's already lost so much weight that the Misfits, who don't see her everyday, were shocked by how much weight she already lost, so I think the same scenario could work here.
