I could be fine with him skipping fake showcase because of Daddy (I don't go myself for the whole "Daddy says I must study overseas so I must" stuff but I am not a teen with Daddy issues) but to skip the fake showcase to go to the real one? WTF! That's not "I have to do as Daddy says" as I doubt that is what Daddy had in mind.

This just pisses me off! So what, he choses to go with Baekhee and abandon his friends and the girl he supposedly lurved since childhood and the only teacher who's been willing to teach him?

Barf. Barfety barf. Welcome to Team Baekhee, Loser! Chances of you getting into Hyemi's pants after this? Probably smaller than Baekhee's propensity for being honest. And you know what, I don't even care any more. I am turning in my Hyemi/JG shipper card. Anyone who does something like this doesn't deserve it. Woo-hoo, go Team Sam Dong Gets The Girl!!!!

I sound like I reverted to my own teenage self, but honestly, so pissed at the character. Not for any shipper reasons (because let's face it, whatever his reasons for doing this "I want to jump Baekhee" probably is not on the list) but because it's such a betrayal of trust and friendship of The Misfits. Baekhee bullied Hyemi and tried to kill her and injured Sam Dong in the process, but it's more that he's banding with the people who stuck them into misfit territory in the first place and treated all his friends like dirt. Boo on you.

(I am also puzzled how Baekhee wrangled a permission for him to participate, tbh - he is in a class that's not supposed to be in the real showcase - a random student can't just override it because she thinks he's hot).

Don't hate too soon. It is just a promo picture, and they can be misleading. It's possible JG was forced/black mailed into it. The written preview does say he decides to give up on Hye Mi and do as his father says. Which doesn't explain why he's with the school show case and performing with Baekhee, but - it's possible she guilt/tricks him into it. Or his dad agrees to let him stay in the school - as long as he goes into the better classroom.


I know Taecyeon isn't the world's best actor - he's passable at best - but, JG doesn't look very happy in those pictures. He looks angry and serious if anything. Could just be his "performance face", but I doubt it.

See how there's no connection between BH and JG. Also in a interview with Eun Jung, she did state that she wishes in her next role after DH, that she would be the one that is in a couple rather then being the one with the one sided crush.

Hmmmmmm I'm not convinced. I'm not sure how he got there (whether his father did force him into it or Baekhee blackmailed him somehow) but if I know dramas he'll somehow find a way to go to the real showcase. (and by real I mean the misfits' showcase)

OR this explains the Pilsook-peforming-by-herself thing - Samdong had to change to partner Hyemi which left Pilsook on her own, and that's why Jason goes to the other showcase (which I feel certain he does).

I'm not sure either way, but IIRC we only get one episode this week due to soccer, so we'll probably find out in ep 8. :(

I can't see why his father would force him there - I get the feeling the less attention JG gets from the world, the happier Daddy and his political career will be. I can't imagine how Baekhee would blackmail him but you never know, of course. I really hope he's there involuntarily though and finds a way to go to the rea showcase, because otherwise I'll be permanently pissed off at his character and I already took up all my space for character dislike with Baekhee.

Oh, please please please let Jason go to fake showcase and sing with Pil Sook.

Don't worry, there will be some good explanation! me? Although Baekhee = evil loser, Hyemi is yet to convince me into liking her, so I don't particular ship her with none of the guys, not too hard. She is getting a lot of attention she doesn't deserve. i am in a Jason/Pilsook at the moment now.

I am at the end of the episode 3 - I can get it that her parents are not the best (eve though she had some good years, it seems), but she totally rubs me the wrong way with her "I am so much better than you ALL" attitude . And she doesn't do herself any favours with this - this kind of kids often get bullied at school.

I don't mind that attitude because it's a defense mechanism. She reminds me a little of myself as a teen (I mellowed out a lot since :P) But she gets a lot better/nicer as eps progress.

Many people tell me that I am this kind of girl (I don't agree though :D), this is may be why I find this type so annoying, as an opposite of "opposites attracts". She just shouted on poor KSD - this is not the way to go , girl! I think I am starting to like her better as an opposite of Baek Hee who is clearly two-faced evil!
