I can see that some of you can get into my LJ but I still can't, at least not to do replies. Apologies, I'll reply as soon as LJ fixes its glitches (so, 2014?)

Am on ep 2 of K.O. 3an Guo and am giggling my way through it. If you want a serious drama or are a Three Kingdoms purist, this will probably give you a coronary, but this is wicked hilarious and very self-aware.




So far, Xiu, the interdimensional traveller stuck pretending to be Liu Bei, is my favorite.



Whoever wrote this really didn't like Liu Bei :P The author of the Romance of Three Kingdoms must be spinning in his grave.

Bwahahahaha, Guan Yu is all "we took an oath, he's dead, so we must die too". I kinda adore him, so doofy. And Zhang Fei tries to argue with him, finally gets tired of it, and knocks him out. This is the first but not the last time I literally laughed out loud at my screen.





Jiro Wang cameos as an interdimentional traveller whose fault it is Liu Bei got flattened. Mmmmmm.



Seriously, so anime.



Their brilliant solution to protect interdimentional integrity. I love how thrilled Xiu looks. (Btw, people in this dimension have no idea of Three Kingdoms but Xiu and his travelling companions do and are duly boggled. Also, nobody in this dimension except for Zhang Fei knows that this is Xiu and not Liu Bei).





Seriously, this show is so self-snarky.



The trio in their new school :P Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei are schoolkids. Let this sink in.

I totally dig Xiao Qiao, who is friends with Diaochan in this take.



In this version, Diaochan has an evil stepmom :P



And is tired of men seeing her only for her looks. Woo-hoo, feminism (sort-of) enters TK! :P





Does Xiao Qiao have a thing for Zhou Yun in this version? Ahahahahahahahaha.




Apparently Zhou Yun is ladykiller supreme :P :P :P



Though sorry, highschool Zhao Yun, you are cute, but my tastes still run with this guy:

And he has a secret sorrow! All the women fall in love with him at first glance, since childhood! ROFL. Except Diaochan. Hmmm, am I sensing a Zhou Yu-Xiao Qiao-Zhao Yun-Diaochan-Guan Yu and Lu Bu hexagon?

Okay so obviously trying to find logic in something like this is a futile effort but I just wanted to be clear ... Liu Bei is dead and a Three Kingdoms-cognizant interdimensional traveler is pretending to be him? Is Liu Bei dead forever? Is Xiu going to pretend to be him forever? Your explanation/recap has confused me ...

Liu Bei is not dead, just really wounded and has been taken to other dimension to be healed and then he will be brought back and Xiu can leave.
