Oh God, I think I might have developed a girlcrush.
This is Shriya, a Telugu movie star. I've never seen her in anything (I've never seen a Telugu movie), but I keep staring at the picture.
She is the most gorgeous woman I’ve ever seen.

In other news, I remain fascinated with Que Sera Sera and am waiting for the weekend to binge fully.
Just look at this adorableness:

Ohhh, Que Sera Sera. It just ended and I found out how and I am satisfied, so, yup, now time for binge watching soon. (Of course, Witch Yoo Hee, Thank You and Hello Miss also just ended and The devil is about done, so I foresee a binge of ginganto proportions anyway).

For those who want to know, this is the synopsis (I posted it earlier):
The most romantic melodramas often make it appear as if a love story can be the end of the world for the people involved, but reality teaches us that is rarely the case. We fall in love, make great experiences and not so great ones, and then break up. All that is left is recover, and start again. The four characters in MBC's new miniseries Que Sera, Sera always put love way down their list of priorities exactly for that reason. A successful fashion designer (Yoon Ji Hye of No Mercy for the Rude), a reserved planning director (Lee Gyu Han of My Lovely Sam Soon), a spunky clerk (Jung Yoo Mi of Family Ties), and the most energetic of event planners (Shinhwa member Eric of Super Rookie). For them love is more like a passing joy than a life-time commitment. That is what they think until they find the spark showing them otherwise.
And for now, I bring you adorable pics.

Elevator angst:

Ending:

And because I am clearly in a pictures mood, here are some pics of my most anticipated summer drama, Lee Jun Ki’s kdrama Time Between Dog and Wolf

And more pics from Lee Jun Ki’s upcoming movie Virgin Snow

Date: 2007-05-16 08:02 am (UTC)Anway, eeek I can't stand Shriya. Sorry but she may be gorgoues (will not deny she is beautiful) but she's a sukky actress. Well I sort of understand telegu but she's also a tamil actress and her acting is seriously standing around and looking pretty. I first saw her in 'Malai'( Lit. Rain) which was pretty boring and all she did was play damsel-in distress and then Tiruviliyaide ( that's were that pics from I believe) with Dhanush and again, total caricature. I think she has potential and she is very attractive but she hasn't pushed herself yet.
I dislike mostly because everyone is SO obsessed with her coz she's pretty- but she's a crap actress! And no offence, her tamil is shitty. I wish they'd just dub her movies or whatever it's like listening to (no offence) when people from asian dramas speak english. Lol. But that's cute...and well hers isn't.
Meh, that's just my opinion. And LOL that you think she is the prettiest because...what about aishwarya rai? Hehe...and geez some other tamil actresses could so give Shriya a run for her money. Like Asin and Kirat Patal (Although I think she's a crap actress aswell but Asin is amazingly good).
Anyway onto dramas. Finished watchinf ep 14 and read spoilers up to the finale. And. (excuse my profanity). FUCKKKKKKK!!!! That's all I am saying. Lol :P
Virgin Snow looks so good. I fell in love with Aoi after Nana and TKoA aswell. I can't believe they're acting together! Love them both :P

Date: 2007-05-16 09:00 am (UTC)Of Que Sera Sera? It's a rather messy drama, I have to admit. I sort of love it, though.

Date: 2007-05-16 12:39 pm (UTC)* I am planning to remedy that though, Netflix has an awesome selection and most of it is in my queue :)
I think Ash is gorgeous but she looks a bit too cold. Shriya and someone like Priyanka Chopra appeal to me more because they have a more 'warm' kind of beauty.
Aoi and Junki together is like some sort of crazy ficer dream but real :)

Date: 2007-05-16 09:10 am (UTC)I really look forward to hearing your thoughts on it. It's the sort of drama I could easily hate, and understand why people hate it - it tests ones comfort levels and isn't too stereotypical in the way the romance runs its course. It's more ordinary and yet the drama level of the circumstances are high and thus everything's difficult. Some people said Eric and Yoo Yung Mi (I think that's the actress' name) had no chemistry but I thought they were amazing. I also lovelovelove the against-all-odds match of the OTP - she's a naive girl who's never had a boyfriend and he's a seasoned casanova who begins their whole thing as a sort of game to see just how naive she is (he's a bastard really but I sort of sympathize with him - the love really hits them both with an almost tragic impact, that's the whole point of the drama I guess, the unbelievable unlikely love that strikes you and changes your life - you'll never be the same).
I need to meta this drama more, it's really such a big brainteaser with its characterizations etc.

Date: 2007-05-16 12:45 pm (UTC)And I don't mind difficult characters (one of my all time faves is A Love to Kill and Rain's character is a messed up jerk the whole way throughout with more rough edges than an antique table). The only major turn-off for me in dramas are characters who weakly wallow in self-pity for eps and eps (which is why I finally gave up on Something Happened in Bali, though since I am only 3 eps from the end, I guess I'll finish it at some point).
So this sounds goooooood.
