I really liked Tree of Heaven but the angst content was a bit high. Though all of those scenes in the snow were quite gorgeous.

The first few eps are kinda forgettable, but in ep 4 it really gets going and I am addicted.

If you can do torrents, d-addicts has the whole thing subbed. It's also on youtube and crunchyroll I think.

DVD sets floating out there have subs that are largely OK though sometimes get weird (for the set I bought, see pic of cover I posted recently).

My really really serious advice to to skip the first three eps. They are just backstory, have no hotties, and the child actor is so annoying he would put off most people from continuing. But then in ep 4 it really gets going. I suggest checking out eps 4-5 on youtube and seeing if you like.
