1. I am glad to note that after Jandi cruelly dumped him, Ji Hoo went on to a big and happy career as an Asian Pimp Daddy:

Ahahahahaaa.

Haaa.

2. In other news, ep 22 of Black and White was amazing. (1) MuSha scene (2) Zai Tian and Chen Lin rescuing Ying Xiong scene (CPR!!!!!!!!!) and (3) I can see why the Bad Guy (trying to be non-spoilery here) handcuffed Zai Tian - you and me too baby, me too!

And the above scene? Made my heart go pitter-patter. Chen Lin always knows just what to say :)

3. Lastly. They are remaking Full House, the famous kdrama, as a twdrama, starring Wu Chun. Mmmmm. MMMM.

1) Ying Xiong / Mu Sha scene was awesome!!!
2) Note that one of them got CPR while the other one didn't. Easy to tell her priorities... :D

I really hope they can wrap up this drama in the two episodes that are left. They did start explaining some of the stuff, but there are still so many questions left!!!

2. Yes, LOL. I was amused that YX was lying in there probably choking or whatever but she wouldn't leave ZT's side until she made sure he was OK.

Full House ♥ Although I thought Smiling Pasta was the TW take on the story (more or less).

. . . I'm *definitely* going to have to rewatch Full House before the TW version hits the subbing circuit.

"That Fool" already had me thinking about Full House, and then this news came out. Obviously, the UNIVERSE itself wants me to rewatch Full House in all it's tacky-clothed glory.

IM GOING TO END UP REWATCHING FULL HOUSE TOO. OMG.

We can share the trauma together!

The good: I'll have time to rewatch the original.

The bad: I don't wanna wait for the new version! I'm pathetically excited about this. *g*

Uhhhh.... he even has less acting skill than Bi ... is that such a good idea? They should have taken Jiro ... he could pull off the arrogance AND the hilarity.

I already saw it when he played in ISWAK, though his character was more comical than anything and in Hana Kimi too, but ever since ToGetHer I am confident that he can become more than just a pretty boy idol actor. They should give him more leads. He got the experience, the looks and the timing for comedy, he would be perfect for Full House.
On the other hand, Wu Zhun, as cute/handsome he is he can't act to save his life. I first thought it was becaus he had been dubbed in Tokyo Juliet and couldn't use his range of voice, but he was only marginally better in HK (where he could speak Mandarin enough to actually have his own voice).

I don't think I will watch this ... The original dorama already hits some of my pet peeves, so I don't want to suffere through another set of FH pains.

I like Wu Chun very very much - I don't think he is the world's greatest actor but I am shallow and he is hot, so I don't care. It's not really a challenging role, is it? :)

what?? what??? NOOOO!! Wu Chun is one of my least favorite twdrama actors of all time! okay, not of all time - I don't DISlike him, it's just that the boy cannot.act. to save. his life. At all. Seriously.

UGHH. Ugh ugh ugh. I mean, I get that he's super famous, hot, good-looking(agreed) just like Rain, but Rain at least (surprisingly) could act...

:( I am so unhappy with this. Full House is one of my favorite dramas.

and oh Ji-hoo. I'D comfort you any day of the year<3

. Full House is one of my favorite dramas.
This - in itself - always had me in a very confused state when friends stated this very thing. I watched it, I found Bi really obnoxious and almost talent free in it (esp. in his serious scenes), and I sitll DON'T. GET. IT.

But then again the whole dorama is hitting so many of my pet peeves ... I don't know ... if it had been my *best* friends, I would have sued their asses off from here to the moon and back again ... or to forgo a court trial set an assassin onto them. And then the whole master/servant stuff .... Bi's character was such a spoiled, immature brat, he needed a good whooping. And the heroine only very closely behind.

I agree totally about the 'best friends', with friends like that who needs enemies?

If I think about it objectively there is quite a list of things done wrong in Full House but it was one of my first Kdramas and like HanaDan it gets a pass on the things that would turn me off now.

LOL it was also one of my first and boy did I hate it ... I guess I was spoiled by MARS (my first EVER dorama) and then my first ever Jdrama PRIDE. Full House as a follow up as a Kdrama let me down. Even now I only watch Kdrama when I like all actors and where I know they can ACT. :)

Full House was my very first kdrama and I loved it - in fact, I loved it so much I decided to check out more kdramas and now am mainly a kdrama fiend, dipping into jdramas and twdramas regularly but nowhere nearly as often.

I agree Bi's character was immature, but I liked him despite that because I thought he was so very kind - let me put it this way, if I bought a house and paid money for it and then somebody showed up and said there was a defect in the title and it was theirs, I'd feel sorry for them but that's about it - when she was hovering in the early eps, I'd have called the cops if I were him, and I certainly wouldn't have taken her in.

Plus, I find bickering amusing - I know a number of rl couples who actually thrive on it, even if it's not my thing.

But the main thing is, I loved the heroine. Kdramas remain about the only kind of fiction where even someone as male-oriented in fiction as I am usually is all about the heroine and a female pov - it's a rare kdrama where I don't just adore the heroine but also see everything through her prism.

Ooooh, I hated those friends. Like poison. I am still upset they didn't go to jail.

But he is so pretty, does he need to act? :)

They are basing it directly on the manga which is apparently fairly different from the drama, so we'll see.

I can't see Wu Chun acting like such a brat. That'll be highly interesting! (I wanted to smack Rain pretty much the entire series.)
