I started watching Casanova with David Tennant, Peter O'Toole, et al, and it's quite quite brilliant. I've barely watched 15 minutes and am in love.

All in all, pretty damn awesome even if you are not a Tennant fangirl. But I am. :)

Ah, I love this miniseries. I even have it on DVD. RTD really has a way with being witty and yet angsty. Giacomo/Henriette(woman in the red dress) are love.

I am desperate to watch this series once I finish Blackpool (I'm on a DT kick right now) and I just started downloading it a few days ago. But it seems to have stopped (all four of the torrents!!) so I gave up and bought the DVD. Can't wait to watch it! I hope that that nothing was cut out from the original broadcast.

I'll end this by saying that David Tennant is one sexy nerd.

Oh, Casanova is great! It was just on TV here a while ago and as I hadn't seen it before, I was glued to my sofa on those evenings. I love the snarkiness of the young Casanova. (Almost wrote "the young Doctor", heh.) :) The whole series has a twist of the odd to it and I really liked it.

I watched this because Russell T. Davies handpicked DT as the 10th Doctor after directing him in this. I was so excited, and it has Laura Fraser and Rose Byrne, whom I both love.

I thought it was awful. I'm glad it has its fans but I disliked it. David Tenant's Casanova is selfish. I didn't like the way they kept him in money. Contrived bits like that can work but they rubbed me the wrong way.
