Things to be happy about on this weekend!
Sep. 9th, 2005 11:49 am1. New BSG tonight. Weeeeeee! More Lee and more Helo and more Kara and more more more....
2. My copy of Parineeta arrived in the mail. This being a UTV DVD it's actually gorgeous: crisp colors, no stupid ads, perfect. If I could have only one movie this year in a good DVD format, this would be it and I got my wish. And it looks just as good on TV, though I am only halfway throughbecause I've been rewatching the sex scene.
3. I just found out that the Harold Lloyd DVD collection is coming out this November!
4. I am going to see Salaam Namaste, which was filmed entirely in Melbourne, tomorrow!
5. The lovely, classic, romantic and perfect "Letter to Three Wives" is out on DVD :P
6. It's not hot here.
7. Palin's "Sahara" is a really good book that is making me feel like travelling. Big surprise!
8. I am about to start a reread of Burney's "Cecilia."
