If I really enjoyed episode 1, episode 2 left me in utter frenzy, obsessed, excited and cursing that there are no more episodes until next week. It's dark and complex and all sorts of fucked up and utterly delicious.

So addictive, it's insane!

What I am watching or dropping has changed considerably from what I planned, so I thought a quick update is in order.

Dropped

Sunao Ni Narenakute - it's finished but so am I. I got through ep 3 before the tripe became too much - I have no idea what the writer was on, but it must have been strong.

Tsuki No Koibito - what a waste of my time! The only storyline I was interested in was Kimutaku's with LCL - I ffed through the rest as it was boring as rocks. Thankfully, LCL/Kimutaku are done so I can drop this drama.

Dong Yi - it's a good drama but a bit too slow for me after period cdramas. Plus, I prefer the epic war sageuks to court intrigue ones.

Road N. 1 - the first ep was horrifying. Unless flisties let me know that it gets better, this one stays lost. Better luck next time, SJS!

Postponed

My Country Calls - I enjoyed it but am in the mood fot angst right now. I will probably pick it up shortly.

Coffee House - ditto. It was awesome but I want an angstfest.

Calling for love - ditto. I want angst!

Bad Guy - like Mawang, it's a drama that needs to be marathonned. But I foresee falling from grace soon and watching it as it airs anyway

Watching/About to Start Watching

Summer Desire - I am unhealthily obsessed with this. No idea why because it's so OTT but it's my kryptonite

Easy Fortune Happy Life - am on ep 3 and I really like it. I don't know why I am attached to it when I am not in a fluffy mood and it's fluff but I blame it on my hormones' reaction to Blue Lan. Plus, the trope of rich asshole woobie reformed by spunky poor girl is my fave ever.

Yankee-kun to Megane-chan - who'd have thought that of big jdramas this spring/summer, it would be this little one which would prove to be the best. I adored the first ep and now have time for more. YAAAAAY.

Young Warriors of the Yang Clan - I am watching it slowly but it's enjoyable, even if I am not rabid over it the way I was over LOCH or Myth.

Legend of Condor Heroes 2008 - I am on ep 33 and it's all sorts of awesome. I am ready for another marathon after a little break.

Comrades - I've heard it's much better than RN1 and I am in the mood for a war drama.

Kim Soo Ro - finally there are subs and I am checking this out TODAY. I see my new big obsession.

Men and Legends - once disc 2 gets here from netflix as for some reason it's the only one I do not have.

Infernal Lover - I am haunting the viikii page for more subs. It's unhealthy but I cannot help it.

And speaking of, I found another IL scene from the middle of the drama somewhere. How can it be so awesome? It's like all the drama cliches and things I want and don't get. Except here.

So here is my list.

I am going slightly batty wanting to watch Infernal Lover but having only the first 2 eps subbed so far. So I went around digging on youtube for clips and hit a veritable treasure trove of awesomeness, the crown sequence of which I bring to you. I have NO idea what's going on (all I know it's from the middle of the drama somewhere) except that it involves the OTP and is a scene I have always wanted to see in a drama without knowing it. I mean - I have no words. This is even better than the 'Domyouji lets goons beat him up to protect Makino' scene or 'Fan Bing Bing jumps off a cliff so that Nic Tse's evil adoptive parents would cure him as per bargain' scene - it's everything I want - h/c, angst, shippiness, and insane OTP interlopers.

Curses, why did I take Welsh instead of Mandarin in college? The Welsh never gave me this (it's all one scene, just cut into 3 clips for some reason).

Moral of the story - DO NOT DATE A DOUBLE AGENT. BAAAAAAAAAAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN. FOR MY ENTERTAINMENT.
