Oh Mighty Flist,

Is Hong Kong and/or Taiwan in November a good choice? As in, is it a good time to go, or do we have to worry about typhoons?

We are planning our next trip...

I am trying to see if we can cram both into one trip.

Generally okay, I think. Typhoon-monsoon months are July - August. But people in my circle generally go to Hong Kong mid- or end-October.

I have been to Hong Kong in October and the weather is very nic, not to hot. It also shouldn't be too crowded but watch out for the the Trade Shows. I think there are alot that time of year.

November is arguably the best time to visit Taiwan, imho. It's too hot and humid there for me most of the time. November in Taiwan is like summer in Vancouver - nice weather for going out. Most typhoons come in July to September.
