Nathan/Haley (One Tree Hill). My not-so-guilty guilty pleasure...

Oh, I totally have a guilty pleasure. The trashy, trashy, trashy CW warhorse, One Tree Hill.

Specifically, I could take or leave the rest of the characters, but I have a huge thing for Nathan/Haley. A jock bad-boy with a messed up family and a bright, brainy girl is such a total cliche couple, but it's cliche for a reason. It works. They are sweet and adorable and made me watch more horrible episodes than anything else could ;)

If you see this vid and don't think they are adorable, I despair of you. I could take or leave the whole boring love hexagon with Lucas and others, but Nathan/Haley? SQUEE. I don't care how they end the damn show, as long those two are still together at the end.

Oh, don't feel bad. I love One Tree Hill too. My OTP is the sadly doomed Jake/Peyton, but I adore Nathan and Haley as well.

I like Jake but I never got over my first season Peyton indifference. But I did think they could have been incredibly functional.

OTH is totally OK with me (in addition to adorableness of N/H) because it knows it's an evening soap and has no pretentions otherwise...

I didn't love Peyton in S1, but she kind of grew on me as the show progressed. And Jake...*sigh* I love him. (Besides, anything is better than Lucas/Peyton. *makes face*)

I've been watching it since it started four years ago and yeah. It is like one of three American shows that I still watch. *laughs* And it's all because of the Naley. They keep me coming back, no matter how cheesy they get. :D :D *hearts*

I am so glad I am not the only one. And yeah, it's 90% Naley's fault ;) The funny thing is when I first started watching (I am sure you can even find me admit it in writing on this lj), I liked Lucas and loathed Nathan but I changed my mind double quick and got bored with Lucas and became all about Nathan and Naley ;)

I used to be so obsessed with them...and I still love em...just not as avidly. They are a totally cute couple and I completely prefer them to whatever love quadrangal Lucas is in.

I love that Haley helped make Nathan a better person and that two people so opposite would love each other so much. Usually in these dramas I'd want Haley to be with Lucas(becoz he's her bestie and they've known each other forEVER) but I just love her with Nathan so much...

Season One was the best...I love everything about them:P

lol. i openly scoff at the super angst of oth, but if i were to be completely honest, i've always had a thing for james lafferty, and i was totally into nathan/haley myself during the earlier seasons. (the marriage sort of made me go WTF though, because, yeah WHAT THE F*CK?!) and brooke. i have special love for brooke davis.

but, uh, i still scoff and lol at all the drama. hee. ^^;

Yess...OTH made me go wtf?! for a while...I'm in highschool and around their age and err...nothing as dramatic seems to happen to me(maybe I'm just not at the right place at the right time?!)

The marriage admittedly made me go wtf!? I didn't like it...it woulda made more sense if they waited...I adored all their cute moments in season 1 but later on it got a bit weird...

I got into the show a few months ago mainly because I became a fan of Sophia Bush.

I mainly like most of the female characters(Brooke, Peyton, Rachel, Haley, Bevin, Karen), but the only couple I've liked is Nathan/Haley.

I absolutely love Nathan and Haley. I didn't even get into the show until two years ago...but I absolutely loved their relationship. I think it's definitely in my top five favorite couples. They make me all gooey inside. X D

you're so right here. I totally adored CMM when he guested on Dawson's Creek, so I gave his show a fair try but I couldn't stand it and gave up after a handful of S1 one eps, but I still kept checking fansites and the like and slowly but surely fell in love with these two; and regularily visited Naley fansites for videoclips from each ep; and after seeing S2 and S3 in such a way - only Naley scenes - I actually watched all of S4 in its entirety.

those two carry the show and I hope - as you do - that wherever all the other characters go, I just want these two to stay toghether.
