Is there a summer dorama preview list anywhere? The only summer show I'm aware of is Maou.

Not sure. I am pretty familiar with all kdramas that will be airing in the summer, because I haunt soompi, but with jdramas and twdramas, I usually only find out when they start airing.

I am staying as far away from Maou as is humanly possible. The Korean version is my second favorite drama of all time (behind Legend).

If I send you the original, no-subs 700mb avi's (all 24 eps., off the Korean DVDs), do you think you could figure out how to sync them with the subs from D-Addicts? I was hoping to do it myself, but I got assigned some extra work this week and will be tied up until early/mid-July. Burning the avi's wouldn't take long, but the D-Addicts subs are for two eps. each and I don't know how to separate them. I could learn, but it's going to take a while.

I really appreciate this, but seriously, don't worry! I have a quick and painless way ofr obtaining eps/subs and will do so :)

I feel bad about it, but chalk it up to my enthusiasm. Ah well, if you need the avi's, just let me know. Burning them is no work at all, it's just the subs that are tough to figure out.

Only a month and a half? That's probably my whole year at the rate that I watch dramas. :(

I'll be watching some of those as well, but it'd take me forever to go through your list. Even if I'm marathoning. *g*

I'm planning on watching Maou because I like both Toma and Ohno who have had a lot of stage experience, even though they haven't appeared in that many dramas.

I'm also looking forward to Code Blue, an emergency helicoptor doctor drama featuring Yamapi, Toda Erika, Aragaki Yui, etc... Yamapi as an ME doctor! Helicopters! Erika and Yui as female stars!

However unbelievable and whatever the plot, I'll be watching it XD.

Code Blue could be totally cracktastic. Very much looking forward to it.

I am avoiding Maou the way Satan does Holy Water. I don't like Toma and am unfamiliar with Ohno but it's mainly the thought that Korean version was perfection and I don't want to see it screwed up.

Who could ever believe a 20-ish Yamapi as a serious doctor whose ER career has already spanned about two years before he got into the helicopter unit XD. Though I have to say Toda Erika and Aragaki Yui are even worse, since I think both of them are a few years younger than he is :P.

I'm looking forward to Maou because I haven't seen the Korean version yet, and I know that both Toma and Ohno have received really good reviews with their stageplays. I don't think Toma really got to show his full capabilities in Hana Kimi (J), though he did completely steal the show from the two leads, since I thought they were totally miscasted.
