Hmmm. I found out that Witch Yoo Hee, which I want to see a lot, as it has romance, chefs, Jae Hee (male lead in DGCH, eeeee!) and Kim Jung Hoon (Yul in Goong), is doing really well in the ratings, best of the three dramas which started at the same time, actually. Which is great. But boooo, The Devil is doing the worst. *pouts* I guess serial killers <<<<<< chefs?

In other news, anyone know anything about If in love…like them? It’s a 70 min kdrama ‘special’ airing today.

Wow, bungee jumping love. Lee Dong-gun so doesn't look like himself in those pictures, I'm so used to seeing him as the clean-shaven Mr Perfect type. Am mildly intrigued now. Plus, you know, that much kissing packed into 70 minutes? Has to be worth watching.

He was in Sweet 18 - where I didn't like the heroine but LDG as very dreamy as this attorney guy - and he was the boyfriend of the girl Rain loved in Let's Go To School, Sang-doo! (again, LDG rather lovable but obviously you end up cheering for Rain).

And he's in My Boyfriend is Type B which, as the title suggests, is about a girl whose boyfriend has type B blood and how that means he's a TOTAL asshole but in a really amusing way. I only got half-way because that was what was uploaded on CR but it looked really promising and LDG was hilarious as this asshole of a guy. The female lead was also in Sweet 18 - I'm 99% sure people on soompi figure those two are dating.

He was in SD? I haven't finished it (though I did like it, it's the weakest of Rain's three dramas). I might check ot Sweet 18 but it does sound a bit odd...

Yeah, Sweet 18 wasn't hugely my thing. The heroine reminded me of Chae-gyung at first with amusing her schoolgirl-y antics but before long she seemed sort of selfish and annoying. I mean, yeah, I want to quit school too and marry a handsome Korean attorney like LDG, but actually, no, I also have some ambition in life. :D

Hmm, well, it seems perfectly possible. Or it could one of those soompi things. I went through the Nodame Cantabile thread for pictures and suddenly noticed people were speculating whether the gf the male lead mentioned having in an interview could be the female lead... Geez.

Re: soompi. The posters have a Noah's Arc 'pair everyone up' mentality. What happens if an actor or actress is in two separate successful dramas with different partners though? I mean, if Hello Miss does well, will the LDW/LDH shippers have fights with those who prefer LDH with the male lead of Hello Miss? :D

Right now I'm so stressed about school stuff I'd love to just marry LDG and be done with it! Babymaking > studying. :/

It's very amusing, the soompi thing. I also notice it with younger Bollyfans, who go for that Kajol-SRK, Abhi-Rani type OTP thing (though obviously that should be Abhi-Aish). But yeah, there are going to be clashes! Like YEH who had her Xman OTP with Kim Jung-kook and her Goong OTP with JJH (her comments on Goong 1.5 seemed to indicate her dating KJK, though).

It's not just a soompi phenomenon, though, it seems. I was reading the Tank discussion over at AsianFanatics and somebody suggested a Tank-Ariel Lin combo (in a duet song) and somebody immediately said, "Nooo, I love Tank but I ship Ariel with Joe Cheng!". Umm. Hokay.

The promo posters are beautiful.
I can't believe how different the j-dramas and the k-dramas are. It's so wow not the same thing, not the same approach o_O. You can see so few kisses in j-dramas and then, so many in k-dramas. I'm always astonished by that.

Anyway, I'll read your review about that one play and see if it's worth it or not ^^.

And I think it's actually a long form music video presentation - the format sounds similar to what Oguri Shun (and the actress who plays Yuki in Hanadan) did. I think the hook is that LGD is in a love triangle with Hyori and an older woman.
