Frankly, this looks dreadful.

But it's an upcoming CBS show with Rufus Sewell in the lead!!!! And he plays an investigator-scientist who has a tough-as-nails female bodyguard.

How easy am I?

So easy that I will check this out anyway.

I am curious about this show, it seems it is a remake of British series that aired a couple years ago or so, Patrick Stewart was the lead in that one.

ah, the promo is just very CBS. it does look bad, but CBS promos are always pretty bad.

the cast also includes Michael O'Keefe and Kate Nelligan and they are great actors. I will at least give the pilot a try.

Did you hear? They're making an American version of Life on Mars. The British original has been running on Finnish TV, I pretty much love it. :)

Good Lord, what's with the voice-over of dramatic stupidity? The same voice-over they used on that dreadful Life on Mars trailer, coincidentally, so if you're looking for a good laugh... :)

I've never got the Rufus Sewell thing. I basically think of him as his character in the Cold Comfort Farm adaptation with Kate Beckinsale. But his US accent helps here, I think. Also, he's playing some sort of brainy expert. Both things remove him from his usual STRAPPING BIT OF ROUGH costume drama character. I really like the idea of brainy guy/tough lady bodyguard but... I'm not sure about the casting. Anyway, I hadn't seen the trailer so thanks for posting it!
