I liked it. Not as much as Batman (but you could have guessed that knowing me, but it was definitely one of the better made superhero movies. I like how he is very arrogant, irresponsible, and flawed in the real life, but still manages to do a decent job as a superhero. His motivation is explained and justified, and his turn about doesn't seem completely random. It is not as angsty and psychologically driven as batman or spidy, but very understandable.
Anyhow, my last superhero movie was Fantastic 4: something about silver surfer (I saw it in the library and decided to check it out). Compared to that trash, this is Fellini.
There are plenty of other RDJ movies for you to watch though, that will appeal to you more. No point in watching something that completely doesn't work for you, just because an actor you like is in it, IMO :)
