I am so glad this was much more D/M centric. I like you, Soujiro, motorcycle and angst, and all, but I am here for them.
ETA: OK, Shigeru, yeah, he said he'll try to like you. This is not a contract. Gosh, her voice annoys me to no end.
ETA: 'MatsuJun looks hot' moment 782, but who's counting.
ETA: Is she a complete idiot? Has she no pride? Yeah, yeah, this guy you like has no interest in you and is clearly in love with another girl. How is stripping naked and offering yourself to him going to make it better? If he takes you up and takes up with you instead just because you are easy lay, is he really the guy you want? Ugh. Shigeru. Earth to you.
ETA: I love the look on Domyouji's face. As if he is realizing how serious about him she is and how hurt she is going to be. I love that loving Makino taught him compassion.
ETA: Dude, I loooooove how he is totally unmoved (even though he is what, 20 year old guy) and he actually doesn't look at her at all but when he has to, just at her face. And his voice is all quiet, guuuuuuuh.
ETA: OK, Shigeru, brief moment of sympathy I had for you is gone. Are you five? Do you not know how to interact in real life and how things work? Just because you go 'lalalalala can't hear you' do you really think he'll back off from telling you he doesn't love you but loves Makino? Are you insane?

ETA: It's a parallel to S1 thing with Sakurako, isn't it? Because Domyouji has so much pride but when it comes to Makino, he will let go of everything. He let Sakurako's goons beat him within an inch of his life even though no one ever has before. And here he is, literally grovelling before Rui.

ETA: And Rui looks totally taken aback (I think for a person of Rui's calm, controlled demeanor, this utter passion that Domyouji has is odd but also very unfamiliar, very fascinating).

As for this episode, I loved it. Matsujun looked gorgeous and the whole episode was just great because they both stuck their guns about how they felt about each other, regardless of what other people said or even what they saw (in Makino's case). It was just refreshing seeing them not jump to the wrong conclusions. And then at the end when they smiled at each other and held hands? ADORABLE. I need those affectionate moments to last longer though. I'm getting desperate here. heh.
