Hanadan ep 7 liveblogging, part 2/2

How come it just gets more awesome?
ETA: EEEEE! Soujiro is so nervous and angsty and intense. Yup, Soujiro/Sara shipper, here.
ETA: Soujiro going 'I've finally found her' EEEE! *dies* Only thing better than a hottie is an angsty hottie.
ETA: Heeee. Akira's mob men.
ETA: OMG! I love this. Makino telling Domyouji, that he looks like he is enjoying himself and his replying of course he is, because for whatever reason, he can be with her. I really love the matter of fact way he says awesome things.
ETA: Bickering! Heeee. Domyouji, that is not a way to sweet-talk a woman, to tell her she has a weird face to start with and it's only getting weirder :D
ETA: They are trying to figure out what Yuki was doing when she fainted but I am distracted by the fugliness of Domyouji's sweater. Seriously, why did you think this was a good idea? Temporary blindness?
ETA: OMG, Sourjiro looks good in the darkness. And in the light. And in the sleet. And in the rain. And in the sun... :D
ETA: It must be a shock for Yuki to discover Soujiro could care deeply. Because before, it was more OK, because hey, he just didn't care for anyone (she thought). But now she knows he can care, just not for her.
ETA: You didn't interfere, Yuki. If he waned to go, he would have. You telling him not to go (when he doesn't care one way or another about you) wasn't going to affect anything.
ETA: Manpain! Tea-drinking manpain! YES.

ETA: Domyouji talking about how even if you want to forget someone, you can't if their face is in front of you. Echoes of Soujiro using his own situation to explain Domyouji to Yuki. Now it's the other way around.
ETA: I am blinded by Domyouji's silver lamee shirt. I think his confidence in love is causing the resurection of bad taste.
ETA: Domyouji frogmarching Soujiro out? For the win.
ETA: I love Domyouji and Soujiro talking. And the bar is dark so Domyouji's horrible shirt is less visible.
ETA: Soujiro/Sara. Angsty adorableness.
ETA: OMG! And he finds out she only liked his older brother as a brother and he pauses and you see the enormity sink in and he asks 'then what about me?'
ETA: EEEEEEEEEEEE!
ETA: OMG OMG! She is evading by mentioning Yuki. Which to me means 'yes, I like you, in non-brotherly fashion.'
ETA: And he is offering her a ride on his bike. Which he never lets a girl ride! EEEEE! How very Chen Ling from Mars of him.
ETA: Ohhhhhhhh. She is engaged. Because the guy really loves her. OUCH. Salt? Meet wound.
ETA: He says he is happy for her? Hmmmm. Soujiro, I don't think you'd win acting awards. Just drag her to the woods and ravish her. Or something. Like a hug.
ETA: He looks like he is going to cry, and is hunchin his face into his scarf and aawww.
ETA: Soujiro! Running!!!!

ETA: That is a whack way to declare love though. And I wonder if he is better or worse off. Now he knows she loved him, but now he knows what he lost.
ETA: Go Yuki! Save a girl from evil boyfriend and she'll be your friend forever ;)
ETA: And he smiles and Yuki and she smiles back, and they walk together, and I am back to being Sourjir/Yuki shipper.
ETA: Soujiro with Makino? adorableness. I love friend!otps.
ETA: Secondary OTP helping primary OTP figure things out. YAY.
ETA: OMG! Makino knocking on Domyouji's door. And pausing, nerves, before hand. And the look on Domyouji's face when he opens and he has his quiet serious voice going. EEEE!
ETA: OMG OMG OMG OMG
ETA: She tells him she is seeing Rui tomorrow and his face falls and then she tells him she is going to tell Rui she can't date him because at the end, the person she wants to make happiest is...and then she pauses, and I think a bit of her courage leaves her and she finishes 'not him.' OMG. The way he looks at her, all open and vulnerable and the way he looked at the end of Hanadan 1, as if he couldn't believe the enormity of her gift.
ETA: And she is outside, and she opens her tightly clutched fist and the Saturn Necklace is there.
ETA: *is dead*
ETA: Oh Makino. You put yourself forward again. At last. Domyouji, boy, don't screw it up.
ETA: Og God, Rui. Telling Makino on the phone, if she wants to see him, he'll come any time anywhere she wants him to go. Oh. Oh. OH.
ETA: It's amazing. Rui can keep himself under such tight control, and Domyouji lacks any control at all. Such contrast.
ETA: Oh GOD. Shigeru. DIE. DIEDIEDIEDIE. Why does she keep barging into people's rooms? UGH. DIE.
ETA: And now she tells Makino she is going to stay over in Domyouji's room. What do you want to bet this is going to be this version's take on the onsen scene and Makino is going to walk onto some really compromising looking scene and won't know it's because Shigeru is trying a last-ditch attempt to get Domyouji interested and he just told her all he wants is Makino. And then Makino is going to go to Rui for a meeting, as arranged, but instead will tell him she'll date him. I can so SEE that. My heart won't be able to deal.
ETA: BITCH.
ETA: I love Domyouji's resolved face. He is so going to tell Shigeru to leave him alone, finally.
ETA: 'No one will have any objections to you staying over the night' Shigeru? How about your intended?
ETA: GOD, could MatsuJun look any hotter when he is rejecting her?
ETA: Rui's eyes are wet. HEEEEELLLLLL.
ETA: PREVIEWS!!!
ETA: Evil Kaede is back! And Domyouji is on his knees, saying Makino is the girl he is destined to be with. $^&(*^^. And Shigeru has another plan *yes, hopefully getting run over by a train*

ahhh, damn shigeru is that her trick on her sleeve cause i wouuld totally be into *murdering her* and we all know that tsukasa is even if his a man now somewhat innocent in that way and the only woman he will want to see like that is tsukushi, why can't shigeru give up!!!!!!!!!

I mean, the burgundy sweater was bad enough BUT then that shiny thing that was masquerading as a shirt was truly HIDEOUS. (side note: Is it me or was he, in the last episode, really, really pretty? Like the hottest he's possibly ever been on any show?)
Umm, other than that? Soujiro was adorable and I was surprised by the fact that I liked the idea of him and Sara together. Makino/Domyouji togetherness was fabulous. I loved how every scene showed how well they fit as a couple and I want more of that! I especially loved the final scene where she tells him that she's going to tell Rui that he's not for her. When she was leaving, I wanted him to run after, grab her and just kiss her senseless but then I remembered I was watching a jdorama. heh.
