Have you read the manga before? That's good too. From what I've read of the manga, the LiveAction follows it pretty well. I'm curious to see what would happen if Japan tried to make their own version (like they did with Hana Yori Dango aka Meteor Garden and Hana-Kimi). Rumors are Korea wants in so they're making Hana Yori Dango too. lol.

Mars was my first manga actually, and I kept hoping there'd be an anime but found out there was live action instead so I went hunting :)

Have you tried Hana-Kimi? It's amazing. If you watch the live action go with the japanese version before the chinese version but both of them are great. The manga is amazing too. The first volume is advailable for download on my site and the future volumes will be uploaded later. ;)

I like HK but it's a little too fluffy for me in large doses (I like my angst). I tried both live actions, and preferred the Taiwanese one, but Oguri Shun was yummy in the Japanese one.

Mars is just about the best thing ever! I am now tempted to read the manga... but I don't know if i would be able to deal...

Ling and Qi-Luo were just incredible and flail worthy... I still remember the convenience gf scene!!! His gentleness...her vulnerability...i must re-watch!!!
