But this is not the post about that. It is a post about two other things. First, it’s a plug for a really underrated drama: Witch Yoo Hee.
I know that response to Witch Yoo Hee has been mixed. The thing is, it’s a good drama, but it’s not a great one and I can see how it can be frustrating as you can see how with some tweaking it could have been. Especially since Jae Hee doesn’t do many dramas at all, so for this Jae Hee fangirl, you want it to be super awesome (but then hey, 16 hours of ogling him on screen is OK with me, too).
Its biggest fault seems to be, in the eyes of detractors, that it’s largely ‘amiable characters in search of a plot.’ Admittedly, that might very well be true: this drama is too enamoured of all the characters it created and doesn’t seem to be able to let got of any of them, and thus it’s not as focused as it should have been.
But I don’t mind it at all as all the lovable, kooky characters are so entertaining that I could watch them all year, from Yoo-Hee herself, who is someone Sunako from Wallflower or Kyoko from Skip Beat would have been if they were grown-ups, to Moo-Ryong, the charming oddball who is completely incowed by Yoo-Hee, to Yoo-Hee’s employees and friends and even the delicious, though decidedly self-absorbed surgeon-childhood-love-of-Yoo-Hee played by Kim Jung Hoon.
How can you really go wrong with an awesome art design and clothes and lighting? A yummy, fun cast with great chemistry, sharp exchanges and swoony moments between the awesome heroine and one of the most adorable heroes to hit kdramas in recent times? Throw in just a little pinch of angst and you got the fun that is WYH.
Yeah, it’s not tightly scripted and more focus on Yoo-Hee/Moo-Ryong love story and development would have been better. But who can resist such fun? Not I.
And secondly, it’s a bunch of yummy angsty Lee Junki pics. More specifically, it’s pictures from the upcoming drama Time between Dog and Wolf. The other guy isn’t hard on the eyes either, btw.

Btw, since you are choosing to decide whether to watch MG or Hanadan, here is a MG vid :) I admit I am shallow and part of the reason I lik MG better is because the guys are taller and hotter :)
