I am showing The Legend to filmi_girl (we are up to ep 9) and it's even better the second time around. It is definitely my favorite drama and one of my favorite fictional things, period. And I love that despite all their differences of character and personality, DD and Sujini have one huge thing in common: they are uncomplicated when it comes to protecting/caring for people they consider 'theirs.' It's just the thing you do, no thinking, the end. Sujini goes after DD no matter what, and DD offered to die to save the lives of the Black Team. Yup. Mmmmm. Oh, and I hate King Daddy much more this time around. The first time, I mildly disliked but this time? He is the worst possible ruler and father. Ugh. It's all his fault, the mess the kingdom is in.

But anyway, the post is not about this, but about ep 10 of Hong Gil Dong. Namely I bring you caps behind the cut.





Is it possible to be this pretty? filmi_girl and I decided that he and Bae Yong Joon need to be in a drama together, preferably playing brothers.

Legend is one of the best dramas ever. Will there really be a second season?

I don't know what they could do for a second season. Really, the Legend has been told. They could have it focus on DD's son, but I don't know how fans would react to that.

Yeah, I don't think fans would be too keen. After all, people are invested in the main characters: DD, Sujini, Kiha, Chuh Ro, Jumuchi etc not the kid we don't know. A large part of me hopes they leave it alone. Legend (to me) is as perfect as a drama can get, and I don't want a bizarro second season messing with it.

I have to agree with you. As much as I would love a second season, there really is no way to make one that would live up to the first season. Maybe the writer(s) can work with the main actors again on another project. But, that's as far as it should go, I think.

I love it when you post on Hong Gil Dong. It allows me to experience the drama all over again.

I loved the scene where the thieves were doing everything unison (and then commenting about that).

I know cliffhangers at the end of episodes is good for keeping the interest of the viewers, but the ending of episode 10 was just evil!
